Official 2011 AP Results Thread

Just got ours in South Jersey:

AP Lang&Comp: 5
AP USH: 4

Damn you, Richard Nixon…

5 on AP World History. :D

Are you AP scores from previous years supposed to be on the score sheet because mine aren’t but some of my friends have them listed???

If your previous scores aren’t listed then maybe they had to start a totally new file for you. That’ll happen if say you gave them your social security last year but not this year or if you didn’t bubble in your middle initial this year but you did last year. Does that make sense?

Yeah thanx, but does it make then harder to send in or anything like that

Omg i am so happy i got a 5 in English Lit (thank god, my third essay basically quoted my entire term paper about solipsism in Nabokov’s Lolita, interspersed with Poe’s Annabel Lee which I had memorized just in case) and a 5 IN BIO omg I crossed my fingers for a 4, I am NOTHING even CLOSE to a science person haha

Calc AB- 5 (expected)
US History- 5 (nice surprise)
Physics Mech- (***** how did this even happen i need to check the paper with my own eyes **) -5

US hist: 5
Lit: 5
Latin: 4 (The curve on this must have been unreal. Coming out of the test I felt like a 2 for sure.)
Physics B: 3

Hey so far I have AP scores of

5 AP English Language
4 AP US History
4 AP World History
4 AP Environmental
3 AP Statistics

I have 5 scores with an average of 4, do I qualify for any sort of achievement award?

@CKBNCKBN yes, your exams will earn you AP scholar with distinction

thanks, so i can like write that on college applications and such, right? haha

do they like tell you that you have earned it or are you just sort of supposed to know?

AP Biology - 4
APUSH - 3
AP Stat - 1

I know I didn’t answer half the MC and less than half on the Open Ended on Stat, so I expected to fail. Bio and History were so-so, and I’m quite alright with those scores.

My Stat score still bothers me though because I want to go into an Accounting major. Does anyone happen to know if Statistics is a large part of Accounting or would I just be required to take a basic Stat class in college?

^ There’s normally a couple of Stats classes in every business/economics major. At my college, for example, there are 2. But AP Stats wouldn’t transfer as that anyway, only the GE math requirement.

AP Euro- 4
AP U.S. History- 5
AP Physics B- 3
AP Chem- 1

Yeah… Chemistry… A bunch of fun.

Teacher was too nice and didn’t check homework although it was assigned regularly (he would just asssume we all did it and give us full credit.) My lazy side got the best of me especially with Physics and APUSH (ton of homework everyday ready to be checked.)

Bdale 2012: Eh I think there’s something about it one their website if you want to check it out. Otherwise I’d ask an administrator at your school.

AP Stat - 5
AP Physics B - 5
AP English Language - 5
AP United States History - 5

So freaking happy, was sure I did poorly on physics.

AP Chemistry----5
AP US History—5
AP English Lang—5

Winning! Sooooooo happy because I was convinced after the AP Chem free response that I’d gotten the whole section wrong. But apparently getting like 1/2 credit on FRQ and about 67/75 on MC get’s a 5.

Took AP Lang and Comp last year, got a 4.
This year, 4 on AP Spanish (hardest class of my life, but I learned a lot) and I got a 5 on AP Psychology. I DESTROYED the MC on AP Psych but I didn’t do that great on the two short answers so that goes to show you can still get a 5

French- 5
English Lit- 5
US History- 5
Bio- 5

I honestly have NO IDEA how I pulled this off, especially Bio. When my parents told me I let loose a long string of curse words XD yayyyy

sophomore 2010
Euro - 5
Human Geo - 4

junior 2011
Calc BC - 5 (5 subscore)
Macroeconomics - 5
US Hist - 5
Microeconomics - 4
Language - 4
Statistics - 4
Literature - 3

How do you get these AP awards? I believe I qualify for National AP Scholar, but what is it? Just a paper certificate? Does it get mailed to me?
