LMAO Aero, that’s the list from AP exam review.com which gave me a headache… I guess I’ll just bunker down in the library and skim some from the periods giving me the most trouble.

^ Haha that’s hilarious…good luck, anyway.

As for the DBQ, my teacher thinks the Great Depression. I’d like that.

I have a feeling one of the first two FRQ questions will be about the Great Awakening. I was looking at past FRQs on Collegeboard and I couldn’t seem to find any recent on it.

has anybody taken the test at apexamreview.com? I have been prepping with sparknotes and got a 740 on the USH test at sparknotes, but I only got 60/80 on the site posted below. Is it significantly harder than the real AP exam questions or do I need some serious work in order to get a 5?

[- AP US History Practice Test 1 - AP US History Exam Review Course -](http://www.apexamreview.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=35:practice-exam&catid=8:practice-exams&Itemid=22)

Isn’t a 60/80 enough to get a 5? That’s 75%.

yes but im a bit worried about the essay section. and on sparknotes, which is considered to be harder than the exam, i got 83% correct.

^You need only 67% of the raw points for a 5. You’ll be fine.

I got 61/80 on a released exam (highest in my class), and average 7 on my essays (one 5, two 6s, a lot of 7s, two 8s) in class. I get 4s and 5s on the unit MC exams in class, too. DO you think I can get a 5 on May 6th? My teacher expects me to get a 5. The thing is, though, that I don’t have much energy or will to study, and I forget things wayyyyy too easily. I don’t remember much from the course. I have AMSCO, and have been reading, but not the earlier stuff. I have a little less than two weeks, so I will be reading AMSCO chapters each day (maybe).

amsco is way too dense for me… i regret buying it to be honest.

Gave up on AMSCO, going for a couple rereadings of DH.

if your an average writer what essay grade can you expect? Do they hand out 5 and above rather easily?

And i agree about amsco, its so boring to read and has so much information. I’m seriously not going to bother remembering any of the painters, writers, or architecture people i just read over. That’s not going to show up on the exam. On page 400 now!!!

I loved AMSCO throughout the school year, but… ugh, superfluous information.
DH is the way to go.

Needshelp: GAHHH. Barely on page 250 or something. After this book, which I PRAY TO GOD I FINISH SOON, I’m going to head over to Rea’s Crash Course and… x___x

Our school alternated outlining from amsco and brinkley. Amsco in my opinion is useless as a holistic review text. I will use it to spot-check a few parts I’m unclear on… I got 670 on my first sparknotes test, 700 on my second. I think I can get 750+ no problem. I think I actually do very well with paper tests rather than online because I can actually eliminate answers by hand… I finished the DH free 90 questions yesterday also with a 74/90… That would be close to if not a 5 for AP and with a raw score of 70, around a 760 for the SAT II. My goal is 780+… Should not be impossible. Thankfully, I have APUSH review sessions with my teacher every day after school for the next two weeks and plenty of time for my hardcore studying.

Can DH be bought in stores or is it online exclusive?

Dumb question.

does anyone have any practice tests? I have a few I could trade for…
I have 1988, 1996, 2001, and 2008.

^ Tenors -the DH books are not in bookstores but if you go into a Barnes and Noble store they will order a copy for you and have it sent to your home. Otherwise you can order it from Amazon.

You can order the Direct Hits book from the publisher at direct hits education . com.

Prob better to order it with Amazon Prime… it’s only $15 and it’ll be at my house on Thursday. It was only $3.99 more to get it delivered tomorrow, which is also a really good deal (for one-day delivery).

So, anyone have any good DBQ/FRQ predictions for this year? :)

Anyone got any tests they can hook me up with?
