DBQ: Maybe civil war bc its the 150 year anniversary. They did 'Nam in 08 for the 40 year so idk. Maybe New Deal. Anything but Native American uprisings.

New Deal would be cool for a DBQ. I feel like I could do a good job on that one. And I’ll add to the general clamor - anyone got any tests they can hook me up with?

Got the princeton review a long time ago but am just now studying it!

Essay questions on women’s rights/feminists, and African Americans seem to always be the easiest for me so here’s to hoping something like that comes up next Friday!

My APUSH teacher said they could have a FRQ (or DBQ?) somewhat related to the triangle shirtwaist fire since this year is the 100th anniversary. Probably more likely something more related to gilded age as a whole?

What on earth is the triangle shirtwaist fire??

An entire FRQ or DBQ on something relatively insignificant in all of US History. Hilarious.

Hopefully the DBQ is something easy like what others say–woman’s rights, African Americans, New Deal. If it has something to do with the Civil War, i think i will do OK, just because our class didn’t cover that section very well.

^ Insignificant? Yeah. However, it outlined the working conditions in the life of middle and working class women in sweat shops. It brought attention to the lack of regulations and safety procautions. If the DBQ or FRQ have to do with women’s rights sometime after Reconstruction, I can totally use it.

I do agree with you, however, and I doubt it would be the only topic of either question.

you’re welcome…

Does anybody else feel like the 2001 exam is a little bit too easy?

Anyone have a list of past FRQ’s?

@Itsraininghere: Awesome, thanks!

@Interficio: They’re on the CB website

@itsraininghere: Thanks a lot dude!

i’m cramming through wikipedia and amsco. anyone in my boat?

I like looking at Wikipedia. Usually one page leads to another, and it gives me a pretty good overview. I just have to be extra sure it’s right. I have no review book, though.

@Itsraininghere My teacher went over some 2001 questions with us during a review session, and the whole class got most of the select few right - so yes, they were easy. Maybe that is because we have good teachers! Let’s PRAY that 2011 will be just like it.

There are 100 very good multiple-choice questions at [Direct Hits Education](http://www.directhitseducation.com/Downloads/Content/index.php).

DBQ prediction: It probably won’t be on African Americans, due to the fact they hit that one in 2009 on both versions of the test. There is a gap of recent DBQs in the Revolutionary thru Federalist Era and around Reconstruction.

I have read many people saying Gilded Age, but that area has been hit often in the last 10 years with DBQs, so I don’t think so.

If I get 60+ on the MC, what do I have to average on the essays to get a 5 (according to the past scoring calculations)?

according to this you have to get above a 5 for all of your essays.
