Not sure, I’ve been hearing Gilded Age a lot though. I got 51/80 on 2001, 64/80 on 1996, and 60/80 on 2006. I did awful on the 2008 practice test though (46/80).

Also, if anybody wants 7 released exams, PM me.

i hope it’s gilded age, there’s so much outside information to bring in that it should be a piece of cake. grouping would probably be relatively easy too.

i got a 58 on the 2001 MC and a 50 on the 2006… makes me nervous, especially since the curve will probably be less generous since the guessing penalty is gone.

I’ve been hearing the free response questions are more difficult this year too. The chem/calc/env. sci forums have all been saying they’re more difficult than usual. Maybe to make up for the guessing penalty? But then again it could just be coincidence and have nothing to do with APUSH.

i have the 2006 exam if anyone wants to trade, i need the 2008 exam (or any recent AP Stat exams cause that’s next week). PM me if interested.

FWIW, the Calc FRQs seemed way easier than the practices we did in class. But then again, my teacher is renowned for making her class much harder than the AP.

Anyway, I hope the DBQ is Gilded Age. I like the Gilded Age.

Agreed.

I keep hearing it’ll either be Gilded Age or American Imperialism. It’ll hopefully be Gilded Age.

So I heard post cold war is not that important. Can anyone confirm?

Well, there’s usually a question on Carter’s presidency problems & Reaganomics. Think that’s as late as it gets other than the Cold War. Is it possible to really predict the FRQs? Unless they follow some sort of pattern, idk.

Is the 1996 MC easier? I got 63/80 and according to the APUSH calculator that was posted earlier, straight 5’s would put me about 13 points above the lowest score for a 5. This makes me uneasy.

wow seriously this could be so much easier without all this selfishness and secrecy. stop this "PM me 1337 secr3t t3st LOLZ I R GIEF U OTHA TEST L0000l0l0L ******** and just post what you have.

Can someone clarify an answer for me? The answer key I have for the 2001 test is flawed. It states that:

In 1890 the most important source of revenue for the federal government was:
a) Income tax
b) Inheritance tax
c) Sales Tax
d) Liquor tax
e) Customs duties

The correct answer is C, right? The key says A, but income taxes weren’t allowed until the ratification of the 16th Amendment in 1913 or something…

@FripFrop: I’m pretty sure it’s against the rules to post those. Which explains the “selfish” route via private message.

@Azyrk: It actually is A. The Revenue Act of 1862 taxed income.

@ Fripfrop: Thank you ! :)

Anybody with PR, do you all think the practice tests (well in general the 1st one because I’m not taking the 2nd one) are good?

Also, how did you all do on the 2008 practice test? For some reason, I didn’t do very well. (49/80) where I pretty much got 60+ on two others.

@Solar, the first practice test I took (which I don’t know if it was a released exam or from a book… we took it in class) I got a 60/80. I took the 2008 yesterday in class and got 53/80 so it was definitely a decline.

so far i have taken both princeton review tests and have gotten 63/80, then 68/80. I took the amsco practice test (which doesn’t really show the form of the real test but anyways) and got 58/80. I took the 1996 test and got a 63/80, and finally the 1988 and got 85/100.

Tomorrow I will be taking the more recent tests to really prepare and see how well i do. Good luck everyone for Friday

This either contains the 2008 exam and answers or a good practice test: http://www.ecboe.org/1638202711406307/lib/1638202711406307/AP_Test_history.pdf

^That’s a practice test, not the real thing. Still good, though.

x15 wrong…not too bad…haven’t reviewed everything yet though
