Wait, lakerman… Did you talk about all of her accomplishments as a progressive, with the Standard oil idea and stuff? Or did you just say the wrong person and talk about lynching? Because if you misread her race, but talked about her correct improvements of society, I think it would be better than if you talked about the wrong person.

ahhh man i even put anti lyching in my paper -____- ■■■ how much will it go down? 7? 6? hopefully they dont catch it lol

And I FREAKING hate the fact that my blue pen died mid-second essay, and all the other pens I had were black-inked.

Laker Man, if it’s a 9 essay, and you made that minimalistic mistake, it will probably be an 8. No worries That’s 36 points still! Half of what you need for a four. My teacher was an AP grader at the conventions, and said they understand you’re time crunched, and if you have 10 examples, and one of them is incorrect or not apropos for the time, they’ll just look at your essay holistically and make sure you very strongly answered the question. No sweat.

is it me or was the mc was easy? does that mean smaller curve?

Um, I felt like I only REALLY didn’t know a few.
I made strongly educated guesses on about 10, and then the rest I feel confident about.
So I don’t know if I’d say “easy,” but I was anticipating a tear-inducing few hours. (likecalculuslol)

well not easy but i was expecting some questions that had like 5 answers nd 4 of them could be right lol

I really want to discuss specifics on the MC…will CB cyber squad track me down?

FRIGGIN POLITICAL CARTOON of leaders WHO?

How about ERA? I was stumped on that one.

ERA I said was opposed by some women believing they lost rights, b/c of Phyllis Scheafly leading such a movement… What political cartoon did you mean?

I was confused with the recent immigration one. They had both asia/lat america and m.e./lat america… My teacher mentioned both… don’t get me started on the open door policy one.

That was Boss Tweed – you could see that the cartoonist was Thomas B Nast.

I think the ERA was defeated by women (not the one with the NOW). *this was my answer

there were two political cartoons.

one with the pillars and one with the man smoking a cigar. I dont remember what I put for the pillars picture but I put Tweed for the man smoking a cigar.

and for the map picture, was the answer louisiana purchase or the french and indian war?

I read crashcourse, but I guess I didn’t read it enough? The specifics of the presidents really threw me off, because I didn’t remember what the presidents did, or the specifying if the events happened in the north, south, etc…

I’m hoping I did well on the DBQ and FRQs, I kind of rambled my way through it, I had some concrete detail, but its not completely specific.

I’m just aiming for a 3.

I’m pretty sure it was French and Indian…but I could be wrong.

It definitely wasn’t Louisiana Purchase because the land didn’t belong to the US afterwards.

helen hunt jackson wrote Century of dishonor in response to ?? what

Can you guys answer my question? I said that the rising prices in the DBQ was because of the energy crisis caused by Iranian Shah. The information is absolutely correct, but at that time, it was because of the OPEC Arabian oil embargo. So I wasn’t far off… Any idea what this is going to cost me on the DBQ? (I think I wrote a solid piece of work using 8/9 Documents and a lot of outside information; I would give it a 7 since I have no idea how harsh the grading is…)

Oh, and the pillars are about convincing the states to ratify the constitution (since Rhode Island was late to accept it)… Am I right?

Multiple choice was okay for me, & we had only covered the Vietnam War a day before the test. Did #3 & #5, but for 1890-1920 I used the example of the Frederick Douglas and William Garrison split & Booker T. Washington and MLK for 1950s. Overall, it was good but i’m stressing about how the split between douglas & harrison was before that time period. what do you guys think about how bad that is?

^ luciDream

Yep, though I wonder how many got that by just reading it. Vocab on it was … er… a bit over me.

The one with the map was DEFINITELY French & Indian War. The land still belonged to England, and France was wiped off the map, so…

How was the DBQ for everyone? My heart literally sank when I saw Nixon! Hadn’t focused on much past like, Kennedy :(
