I would say it’s the most difficult to get an 800 on after Math Level 1, Literature and Ecological Biology based on the percentiles that College Board released for 2010 College-Bound Seniors. An 800 was in the 98th percentile. Here’s the link if you’re interested: http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/2010-sat-subject-test-percentile-ranks.pdf.

O Wow, it’s that tough? Any of you that got an 800, willing to share your story and how you did it?

wow.
i should’ve taken SAT World History if I knew US history was gonna be 23423 times harder.
■■■.

anyways, i heard u get miss like 8 and still get a 800…but i took the SAT II us history in may, and it was easier than the Ap exam.
i just used the princeton review book for the ap exam and took the sat ii

there’s a lot more detail on each president and authors/writers, stuff liek that…

O kk thanks, any more thoughts?

Is the PR tests for SAT2US accurate? I got a 690 without any AP or honors (or even studying, yet)

I’m not sure, does anyone know?

Any more thoughts?

Hey guys who are advertising Direct Hits, do you know if the REA Crashcourse book (written by the same man) good enough? I have that one already.

Yeah, I have the Crash Course one and I used it for the AP test and I loved it. However, i’m not sure if it completely covers everything. DH has everything in Crash Course and more.

If you have any others questions, feel free to ask.

@Diagnostician Would you say that reading DH US History in a Flash could substitute reading AMSCO? For the SAT II.

^ Yeah, DH definitely overcompensates for AMSCO. Read them both if you’ve got time, but that’s super overkill. DH suffices.

I just got my DH book in the mail today! Would you say that the DH book properly prepares you for the MC of the SAT Subject test? I took APUSH in May, but I heard that the SAT questions are way more specific. Gah, I don’t really want to reread AMSCO…

Don’t read AMSCO, it’s so long imo. I am just reading DH and then I might skim over Crash Course. After reading DH take some practice tests and look up the stuff you go wrong. Doing that should help you procure a 750+

just wanted to bump this up…anyone ever looked at petersons tests? I took one today and it was very different than the sparknotes ones, and a LOT harder.
