*official* 2011 regular decision post here

clemson lol opposite ends

@Blessedmom thanks :)

@iLoveNewYork15 I’m a new hampshire man

@conhanmeg I applied undecided. Poor choice?

Decision (for my D, from MaSs.,)–accepted for Graphic Design
Sat’s–2090
GPA–3.52
Lots of EC’s; portfolio and essays probably considered strong.

A little sad that we will have to rule it out due to cost. The FA letter estimates COA for 2011-12 at $54,000+ and the only aid given is $5,500 Stafford loan. I guess we are not surprised. It was not her first choice, but it’s a very nice school and I definite could have seen her there.

Decision- Accepted into NU.in Program [Computer Eng.]

GPA- 3.5
SAT/ACT- 1890 SAT, 28 ACT
ECs- Varsity Sports, a lot of community service, many clubs, etc. I have A TON of EC’s.
Honors/scholarship-

Why do you think you were accepted/denied/wait-listed?- I am pretty upset I was not accepted into the Fall. My scores / GPA were a little weak, plus Northeastern had 48,000+ applicants to find a class of 2800 from, so I’m sure many people had better scores / GPA than me. However, I still was accepted into Northeastern, and the studying abroad thing would definitely be an amazing experience. It’s only until the spring anyways, than I’m back in Boston to study Computer Eng.

Will you be attending?- Possibly. Studying at England, Costa Rica, Australia, or Greece sounds very exciting, but I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I am still awaiting other offers from schools at the moment. But NU.in is a definite possibility.

New York: waiting

I applied for English thinking it might be odd for NEU but also that is where my highest scores are.

Like others I probably can’t afford it even if I get in.

WNY–waiting. . .

Just got the email

Decision: Accepted

Still waiting in Texas. I had applied EA and was deferred, that decision came out around 9 PM central so I guess I’ll check back around then.

waitlisted from NY
SAT: 1890
GPA: 4.0 weighted
applied for BBA (accounting)

should i accept the waitlist offer -__-?

from OH and still waiting…very impatiently :(

Do you log in the way you’ve always logged into the status checker to find it?

Okay, I have to go out for a while and not sit foolishly in front of this computer. I’ll check in with you all later!!

I’m from OH too, waiting impatiently.

To those still waiting, this from NEU website:

We began releasing decisions today at 3:00pm EST by geographic locations in an effort to not overload the Application Status Check.

If you applied regular decision, you will receive an email announcing that your decision is available with instructions on how to view your official decision letter through the Application Status Check. If you do not receive an email this evening telling you that your decision is available, please call our office at 617.373.2200.

We release four types of decisions to regular decision applicants: Admission for Fall, Admission for the NUin Program, Waitlist for Fall, and Deny.

ready2011 -

yes, login to application tracker is same - you need your NU ID (assigned when you applied) and date of birth

good luck!

Waitlisted. :frowning: I’m from NH.

GPA- 3.3 UW
SAT- 1960
ACT- 32

There’s still a chance though. I guess I’ll just have to wait for another few months.

has anyone in NJ gotten their decision? this is going really slow…

My son got his acceptence (we’re in NY). PharmD and Dean’s scholarship $10k a year which to be honest is hardly anything at a $50k a year school. He’ll be happily heading to University of Pittsburgh with full tuition.
