Yea.. my best friend applied too, and I can't imagine BOTH of us getting in, but I don't wanna think about which/either one of us (or neither) getting in..

The closer the date, the more I realize that I don't have a very good chance of getting in. I mean, come on, what have I really done? I'm in the race, but...I haven't won intel, siemens, or anything of the sort...that probably doesn't make sense...basically, I've resigned myself to a rejection, I guess...

if i'm rejected, i'll probably get over it quickly and look forward to berkeley . ;)

Hey guys, I have an urgent question please. Will it negatively affect my application if I did not sign the viewing right waivers for my recommendations?

It might... wonder how much though.

if it werent for my hooks, id be even more scared than i currently am....and Im very scared!

ohh mann.. i think the decision colors should be RED for acceptance (Stanford Cardinal) and white for deferral (maybe... so it's still a Stanford color)... and then... idk what color rejects should be... black? blue? idk

yea thats a good idea, red for accepted

GOOD LUCK GUYS! shivers

i second that... it would so suck if I got rejected because one of my friends got deferred from MIT and the other (who's grades are not IVY level at all) got deferred from Cornell... so I would look like such a loser if I got flat out rejected...
plus the fact that people at my school are really mean and they've already said that I wouldn't get in, so I want to prove them wrong, and be like you know what? watch me!

is this going to be the decisions thread or is someone going to make an official official one? :)

lets make an official one so it isn't cluttery. with no extra posts, for easiest reference for class of '12. and have this be the discussion post.

but i dont think we should make accpets red, red makes me anxious haha and im already anxious enough...it might make it confusing too. but i dont know, that is just my opinion :)

and takeme2cali- i am sorry they are mean!!! my school is super nice about it...but i hate it when people are like "oh you'll get in" because then i will disappoint them when i get deferred :( ugh. deferral. im not prepared for it as much as i try :/

hmm i glanced at pton's forums and they have a ton of spirit - they want their thread to be cluttered and messy! haha let the noobs fend for themselves!

isn't the decision up yet?

Not til 3 o clock.. another 4 hours. Which seems like AN ETERNITY.. AAAAAHH

wouldn't it be 3 hours 20 odd minutes?

Good Luck To All1!!!

I am in.

I am in Tokyo.

you too beefs...that is of course if you're '11 as well.
i'm planning to hang around here until i know what format the decision is gonna be on the website...so i haven't logged on once yet.
