Remember don’t discuss exact questions. FRQs are released in 48 hours.

I personally thought the multiple choice was medium difficulty. I did finish but with only like 2 minutes to spare. Free response I literally finished an hour and 5 minutes early, haha. I went back and caught some mistakes I made, though. It was super easy in my opinion.

For the free response questions, I maybe didn’t do a total of a 5th of what was asked, and I randomly guessed on I think 10 multiple choice. It was bad.

I got in college, I got an A in the class, so the AP score even matter for me at this point?

MC wasn’t too hard, but it took me longer than usual. Usually id have 15 minutes left but this one i only had about 5. FRQ I thought was a joke, im actually worried I missed something on one of them because I had such an easy time with it…

If you used .add for an array (on the FRQ I thought it was an arraylist instead of an array), what should I expect point wise? I used .add and .remove

MC I had to rush, but finished.
Part 2 was very easy (until i realized what I did array wise =/)

Yeah for me multiple choice was not hard but questions took a long time so I had rush a little at the end. FRQs were easy except for the last part. I’m probably get a 4, I’m hoping for 5

LOL @ FRQ’s XD. Took me sweet time and finished half hour early. Way easier than I expected.
Ran out of time for MCs (Had 5 left…All grid world). Too many recursion and code reading questions x.x
Expecting 4-5 for sure. Now…Time to study for APUSH x.x

How much do they penalize for writing methods outside of the method they ask you to write?

I couldn’t figure out how to do it in one shot. Regardless, the test was pretty easy. Didn’t have time to answer 4 on the MC, and it’s possible that I got 3 9’s on the FRQ. Expecting a high 4, low 5.

Wow MC was quite difficult for me because of time, but man I wish I could have used the hour I had after the FRQs to work on the MC…

By the way would they count off if I force ended a for loop by setting the for loop variable i to a number outside the i < array.size() boundary? I know it is bad programming but I just did the first solution that came to mind.

I also agree that the MC section this year was very time-consuming in comparison to the ones on past tests. So many nested for-loop and recursion questions…

So you guys think that the curve might be more generous if a lot of people didn’t finish the MC? I just realized I made the same mistake as HxCKhaos, using add for an array. Grrr…hopefully it doesn’t jeopardize my 5. I can’t wait for 48 hours to discuss a certain FRQ that is killing me.

I assume as long as your not making any references to an exact question, you can discuss it. For instance if you feel like you made a mistake understanding a certain concept that appeared on the test, ask about the concept, but not the question. The responses should give you a clearer understanding to what your seeking.

The MC had way to many iterations (and way to many I, II, III). Considering you have to check them all and there really are no shortcuts with these questions, it was way too time consuming. I just hope the curve is generous.

Also, made another stupid mistake in regards to using .getNumRows (I got mixed up and used a gridworld method) and .getNumCols for 2d arrays. I’m assuming 1/2 or would that be a major point off?

Also, these points, do they just occur once for the entire question (or per part?). Assume I used .add/.remove in parts a-b of a question. Do i get 1 full point off or just 1/2 for the whole question (the problem was consistent throughout).

AHH I’M SOO HAPPY! I barely studied, and I’m positive I did brilliantly on the MC (considering I had 25 mins remaining, and I rechecked all of my answers 3 times), and well the FR was a joke… But YAY! Hope everyone’s exams went well! ;)

are you allowed to override a certain method which I will not speak of in gridworld? in a lot of practice FRQ’s it says you cannot override said method.

Just made an account to see how people did and ask how it sounds like I did.
I may have gone a bit too fast past multiple choice, I finished early and had time to check my answers from the beginning thoroughly. FRQ seemed very easy, I am 100% sure I got the case study problem correct.
Anyway on the practice exam taken about a week or two before the exam I got a low four, and I had taken about 3 or 4 after that just to get a feel for the questions in bundles, not checking for a grade.
How do you think the curve will affect me? I am definite about a score of at least 30 in FRQ, and at least 20 in MC, but if I’m being pessimistic about the speed I finished at I may have gotten a 25+.
