She was kind enough to write me an email of recommendation, and I wrote about how she influenced me for my admissions essay. That probably gave me a leg up.</p>

So remember those with low h.s. gpa/test scores: go to a community college, save money (I have no debt so far), and do good. I would have absolutely NO CHANCE at UF if I applied straight out of h.s.</p>
