Sagely Advice: To the people who are anxious and losing sleep about getting into a good school, please, DON’T WORRY. I took 2 years and the time has finally come, EMBRACE IT. You worked for this. We all did. Sure, I could’ve done things differently and gotten a 4.0, become president of some clubs, etc… but… I didn’t. I’m here now and things are OK. Just work hard and enjoy your friends and family. A rejection is not the end of the world, and for many successful people today… it was only the beginning.

Congrats to everyone who has heard back already!

Still pending here as well, though not surprised being OOS chemical engineering. The longer I go without hearing from UCSB, the better. Just need to survive rejection until April and pray for ONE spot to be open.
