<p>Just got rejected today. Man, it really hurts. Anthro, 3.33 gpa, everything complete. Still waiting on Irvine, San Diego, and LA. Things aren’t looking too good for any of those schools. I really should’ve applied to Riverside or Merced… I just thought my chances at SB were REALLY good. Anyways, good luck to the rest of you guys! Really… Good luck to all of us for trying to get a damn bachelors to pursue our career goals.</p>

<p>It takes a special kind of courage to admit rejection on a public forum such as CC, which is probably why there are far more posts about getting admitted versus denied. Don’t ever doubt yourself. I got rejected by two CSUs a month before getting admitted to UCSB. I couldn’t even tell my own friends that I got rejected, all I’ve been talking about is transfer this, UC that. Much like you, I was scared so I added Riverside to my campus choices the day after submitting my UC app back in November. After getting admitted into SB, there was great relief but also shame that I even applied to Riverside out of fear, considering I could never see myself there. </p>
<p>Colleges may deny you an acceptance, but never let them deny you of your future success.</p>
