I am still waiting for the admission status. Hope is not a bad sign.

Still waiting also! Yeah…better than being rejected.

Also waiting what is going on!!! Go UCSD though

Hey, I’m applying for linguistics too: what made you choose UCSB?

Sent from my SPH-L710 using CC

@Valicore I haven’t chosen UCSB yet (still have a few more decisions), but its very likely that I will attend. UCSB is in a great location, not too far from home, and every one is so friendly. I was really worried about the party scene and diversity of people when I went to visit this month, but turns out there are quite a few people in my same position and there is a considerable amount of diversity. After visiting, I would definitely not mind going to UCSB!

@Brittann Which CSU did you transfer from? Im also trying to transfer to UCSB from a CSU.

Reading thru last year’s thread most of the late decisions came around 27-29. starting to think all our applications are reviewed by a whole bunch of interns…

^ they only post on weekdays though.

It was prlly weekday last year is it weekend this year? Hell I wudnt mind em releasing decisions on weekends to meet the deadline.

Question about TAG for UCSB

<a href=“University of California Counselors”>University of California Counselors;

On that page it says: UC-E, UC-M deadline is Fall 2012.

So I am finishing English 1,2 and Statistics this Spring 2013 semester.

I’m applying for UCSB TAG for Fall 2014.

Would this disqualify me from being accepted for TAG??

I have over 30 units, I have maintained a 3.57 GPA, and yeah.

@tony No it wouldn’t. They mean the spring right before you transfer.

@mermaker Do explain?

This is what it says on the webstie

Completion deadline for
English Composition (UCE) courses
Fall 2012
Completion deadline
for mathematics
course (UC-M)
Fall 2012

Did you apply last September for this Fall or are you going to apply this September for next Fall?

The Fall 2012 deadline is for people who will be attending this Fall. Jesus Christ.

@mermaker, I’m applying this September for next Fall. But this thing says its for 2013-2014 that’s why I was a little confused at first.

@novalord2 s.t.f.u

@Tony: For the Fall 2014 TAG you must complete 2 UCE and 1 UCM by the end of Fall 2013. Since you already have those complete at the end of this semester you will meet that part of the TAG criteria. New TAG guidelines for fall 2014 will be posted in July this year.
