[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: TAG, GPA, and a “easy” major.[/li][/ul]General Comments: After having to wait a year while I had already been accepted at some privates, I don’t regret my decision to take advantage of the instate tuition and prestige of the UC system. Was just accepted to UCSC and UCSD (Political Science) and I’m waiting to hear back from UCI, UCLA, and Cal. UCSB is my first choice so I’m really happy! Good Luck!!

3.84 GPA, Cal community college transfer
History Major
All Major Prereqs Done with A’s
63 Semester Units by end of this semester

Waited to do Math requirement in Spring 2013. I think this is what got me rejected. Anyone else in a similar situation. I’m freaking out right now. Please tell me that this is just a weird rule that UCSB uses. The counselor from UCLA told me that they don’t care, as long as I have Math and English done by Spring 2013.

Good luck.

@ernestobb25 Yeah i called the financial aid office and they said that they will be sending those out late march. So we have to wait a bit longer

Oh and I will have IGETC completed by Spring 2013 as well.
Also PHI THETTA KAPPA member.
TAG? NO.

@Jalberto I think its just a UCSB and UCI as well thing. Also, you can appeal that once you pass your math class and they should let you in. I’d be shocked if they didn’t History isn’t impacted I wouldn’t think and your stats are very good.

What other schools did you apply to?
