they are compiling lists of all the active WLers from each region?</p>
<p>^I’m not sure, but they might be compiling a ranked list of waitlistees from each region and sending that into the admissions committee. Like a “here are the top 20 we think you should consider” or a “here is a list of applicants in terms of their strengths.” Just a guess.</p>

<p>Question: So my teacher sent a rec last Friday and I sent a faxed letter of interest/update last Saturday. Do you think that the above will be reviewed in addition to the other stuff they have of me?</p>
<p>^ You would hope yes, right? Well, think about your admission officer, how much they work they had to do, and whether they would want to read another page of yet another recommendation letter. Not meaning to be snarky…just realistic</p>
<p>I think this is like the NFL draft in reverse - the best school drafts the best students last and everyone waits for the selections with the tension mounting…what drama! You could do a reality show on this!!!</p>

<p>many of harvard waitlistees are cross waitlisted at penn</p>
<p>They admitted 2 from his school. I spoke to the Harvard schools committee coordinator and she said that so far 5 have been admitted from the waiting list in England.</p>
