At least some decisions are posted. My son just got into College of Chemistry on appeal.

Mine still says in review

Anyone hear back from engineering yet?

My engineering still says under review.

haven’t came out on mine yet… are you pst time?

Mine is still under review. I appealed as a bioengineer and live in pst time is that helps anyone.

mine is engineering

maybe they come out in batches? lol

Aww…I’m still under review.
(Undeclared/ Linguistics Major)

Only Chemistry decisions, I’m guessing then.

i was under undeclared/business… lol why can’t they all just come out?

Split up into the different major departments, and they handle it there?

I’m engineering, specifically MSE and am still in review. What about other people and their majors?

From the scant details, I’d say the chemistry appeals are out.

EDIT: I take back my theory of different departments. hwjwill’s engineering appeal got through, and a chemistry appeal got through. All bets are off at this point. I don’t think there’s any reason for them to hold back denials though.

What’s the reasoning behind major-based acceptances for appeals when ucb normally accepts by college?

I thought it might be likely that they split up the appeals and delegated the respective appeals to the specific department of each college. No idea how it actually works though.

For reference, I appealed IEOR in CoE. Since its a very small major so I guess that’s why it came out first.

That makes sense, because the college of chemistry is also pretty small. Thanks for your insight :)

Has anyone gotten a negative response from Berkeley yet???

Looking at threads from last year, there were students whose statuses weren’t updated until after May 1st. At this point, I don’t think we can assume that engineering and chemistry students still in review have pretty much been denied, especially since we’ve only heard from two individuals.
