official 2013 waitlist

just called Ad office and was told the waitlistees will receive something by this Wednesday in email and mail package

Yeah, I called them too and was told something similar. I am not sure, though, whether they said it would be available On Wednesday or By Wednesday as you put it. I am extremely anxious right now.

lol probably extended waitlist

does this refer to the ppl who will be getting off the waitlist…or will ALL waitlistees get some sort of letter indicating whether they are in or out

@ MGMT_Fan

didn’t somebody post an article that said they plan to take 50-70 kids off of the waitlist?

bicyclekick, here’s the article:

[Class of 2013 yield steady at 63 percent | Interactive graph - News](http://media.www.dailypennsylvanian.com/media/storage/paper882/news/2009/05/15/News/Class.Of.2013.Yield.Steady.At.63.Percent.Interactive.Graph-3741380.shtml)

Furda said he expects to accept some students off of the waitlist, which will slightly alter the 63-percent yield.

In the coming weeks, he said Penn will likely accept “somewhere in the range of 50 to 70 (very happy) students.”

so does that mean if you’re getting in, you’re getting notified on wednesday?

Yeah, I would like to know the same thing.
If you got in would you find out by mail or email on wednesday?

have no further inf. All I was told is to expect an email and mail package by Wednesday.

It is amazing that when I called them today, they had a completely different story. They said that they have not planned on releasing the info necessarily on Wednesday and that they do not know when exactly it is going to be available. The only thing they know is that they will be finished by June 1. I am so worn out by the waiting process, why do they have to be so self-contradictory?

A friend of mine received a happy email a couple of hours ago…they’re coming!

^^^^ where’s your friend from?!

I just got an e-mail and I’m got accepted! I am so excited. I am from Ohio. Good luck to all those still waiting.

My grammar in the last post “I’m got accepted!” warrants a rejection, not an acceptance.

i didn’t get anything yet…does this = rejection?

oh and to those who got in…congrats!! and what region are you from?

still haven’t gotten anything…

so scared!

Internationals rarely get accepted from off the waitlist, right?

I don’t think not getting anything yet necessarily means rejection. And I also doubt that the region matters because I’m from Singapore and I just got accepted.

really vitC?

what did u apply for at penn! congrats!

(I guess I didn’t get in…)

Thanks, but I heard that acceptance letters come in batches, so don’t lose hope yet. I applied to CAS.
