If I understand correctly, the schools reply by that date on the website. And iirc Last year’s thread had mail that was postmarked on May 1st, some applicants in the DMV area received letters around the 3rd. So it is reasonable that we should hear some noise in the weeks before the June 1st deadline.

I called admissions a few days ago to find out about early notification (due to acceptance at another school) and they told me June 1. HOWEVER, last year they said the same thing and a friend of mine who applied had her decision by the second week of May. So I would guess that yes, we will hear hopefully before June 1.

Yeah I’ve done some calling around myself. One of the schools I already got accepted to I called to find out about reply date and she misunderstood and told me the “June 1st…all applicants” like on their website… but I received the acceptance mid April. So yeah I think the policy for some schools is to avoid early-reads and/or giving decisions over the phone.

Does anyone know how we will find out?? Through email or through regular mail?? I live in Spain and God knows how long regular mail can take… :)

I know for national students, it’s entirely through mail- living in Spain though, I could see them emailing you! I’d call and ask!

Hey guys I just got an acceptance email for the MSB today. Msg me for any questions/discussions about the process, as I talked to the admissions officers often on whem results would come out.

@rhees17 congratulations! Hopefully the rest of us start receiving decisions as well!

Just got accepted as an economics major!!! Really excited :)

@sonolacrosse congrats!!! like right now? When did you get your e-mail?

I just want to hear back now.

I was accepted to the MSB today. I got the email at 5:36 pm today for reference for the people waiting. They might accept people in waves.

By the way, I didn’t receive an interview or any mention of an interview.

Got in today as well, also got the email at 5:36. This was my only choice, feels like someone jammed a syringe of dopamine and adrenaline right into my f***ing spinal column. My God.

@ArchibaldTuttle congrats!!! Which school?

@ArchibaldTuttle fellow AU freshman that applied to Gtown as well. Congrats on your acceptance. I applied to MSB and am still waiting

If we haven’t heard back yet, is that a bad sign/should we assume that we didn’t get in?

@collegequeen123 I wouldn’t assume anything. Just wait until June 1st (last day for the decision). I assumed I wouldn’t get in when I wasn’t contacted for an interview.

@TransfrApplicant @rhees17 do you guys mind sharing your stats?

Seems like everyone that was accepted today on this thread got in the MSB? Hopefully that’s the trend since I applied to the SFS. Maybe they do it in waves for the different schools?

I think @sonolacrosse is gtown college. (There is no econ major in MSB)

@wellletshope Georgetown College, English major.
@transfer1235234 Good luck dude. Go Eagles, Go Hoyas.
@Luthsn I applied to Georgetown College, and obvi there were some MSB kids. I don’t think the school matters.
