Official 2014 NYU Transfer Thread

@lauren227bike Same here!

My housing just now changed two hours after I got my acceptance email. So I guess the transfer housing is a good indication of being admitted

Admitted by cas at 4.58am

Ugh! I still didn’t hear back yet…

Just got accepted into CAS as a psychology major this morning!!!..does anyone know how we can see the credits that are able to transfer over?

@steph1994 log onto albert, and then go to applicants (where you would find financial aid summary) and there’s an option to click on transfer credits!

accepted to CAS at 7:57 am! congrats to everyone who got accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting!!
also, my housing didn’t change until after i got accepted!

Congratulations guys!! And everyone still waiting… I’m still waiting too -_- ugh well we DEFINITELY have to find out some time next week… right? lol

@kan123‌ ah thank you! and congratulations to everyone who was accepted! my decision relies on how many credits will transfer over (really not trying to retake classes lol) but congrats and good luck to all those still waiting to hear back!

have any rejections been sent out yet?

anyone heard back from Stern today?

Reject from CAS… 3.8 gpa in a top ten liberal arts college, IB, a bunch of EC and community service, very clear and specific essay about the research I wanted to do, three letters of recommendation… I don’t know what else I could have possibly done :frowning: I’m devastated…

@kadotab I’m really sorry to hear that  did you apply for FA? (if you don’t mind me asking) I know NYU isn’t knoen for grest financial help but you never know

@dwarnock95‌ Yea I applied for FA, so there is a SLIVER of hope lol

So what if you didnt recieve an decision yet but the website is letting you fill out a housing application with your status as non renewable graduate?

@nyunyufall14 and everyone else worrying about the $1000 housing deposit - if you do not receive on campus housing, they DO refund the $1000. I called and asked yesterday.

@philly98‌ Thank you! I was actually going to call them today myself haha.

Hi everyone I’m new here but I’ve been following this thread for awhile. I applied to Stern but haven’t heard back yet. Congratulations to those who have been accepted! I hope everyone who is still waiting will hear back soon.

@kadotab haha I wish you luck!
Does anyone think they will release decisions today? (Friday)

No idea… But they have to hurry up! June is coming! Tik tok~ lol
