Was rejected by Columbia first time around. Went to Medgar and worked hard. Kept a high GPA. I got involved in my passion, the community. I was just recently accepted to Columbia last week, and am still walking around like it is a dream.
@ARandomPerson1 hey, I’m currently enrolled in a UK university for what is known to be a year 0, foundation year. Although I have only joined this university for this year (currently in week 9), thinking it would boost my application as a freshman (since I’m in year “0”) to UCI or UCD, it turned out to be a bad decision, as I am now forced to transfer instead of simply applying as a freshman. I am almost certain I will not be eligible for admission at UCI/UCD for next fall. I would really appreciate your help on how I could transfer to CCC then to UCI as you have done. My current university, although in year 0, gives me credits that are definitely transferrable in the UK, but I am not quite sure about the US. Could I possibly join a CCC as a (freshman/sophomore) transfer then apply to transfer to a UC as a junior transfer?
