<p>apparently last year they kept 120 people on waiting list. only 13 got in. For you liberal arts majors, thats 10.8%. </p>

<p>Okay, so I called in today to get the number of waitlisted students and they said about 300. So all of the decisions have been made… </p>

<p>yeah, for 225 spots in the honors, they admitted 720 people and put 300 on the waitlist.</p>
<p>This is really stupid. They might as well start a new program for the waitlisted students.</p>
<p>But then we also have to consider those people who will reject the waitlist offer. But still…</p>
<p>I’m sure there are a fair number who are going to reject the waitlist offer. Don’t give up hope.</p>
<p>I mean, I rejected my waitlist offer last year…although, that was because I had too many running start credits that I didn’t want invalidated.</p>
<p>I know this is from last year, but when did you guys hear back from UW honors? Sometime in May? June?</p>
