<p>Did anyone get technical glitches when they submitted? For some reason in my sample application pdf one of my non-human vertebrate animal sections was placed in a different section that what I had originally inputted it in…</p>

<p>I only counted 398 people who received the entrant badges. Perhaps not all of them are out?</p>
<p>As a point of comparison, there were 826 badges last year.</p>

Hey, did you guys receive a t-shirt/laptop stickers yet? They said it would be out in December… Anyways, Happy New Years!

I just went on and see… I think there’s definitely around 500 (at least) people with badges this year. I regret everything because I definitely did not work on my app as hard as I should have 
I procrastinated way too much. Ugh.
@nobody426 don’t say that. I mean we have 3 more days to know, and you never know. It’s wholly possible that despite procrastination you put in the best of your efforts and conveyed passion and showed your research clearly. Don’t give up just yet. Believe!.. there exists a luck in this world also. 
@eswara20 I guess you’re right–I’ve just got to believe. Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m always a worry wart, so I just get anxious over every single little thing. Best of luck to both of us!

Which badges are you talking about? D received an entrant badge in December, and assumed everyone got one. But after reading here it looks like there are other badges as well. Wondering which ones people are receiving now and what that means…
@MamaBear16 Was she notified over email or by checking the website? I did not receive an Entrant Badge, so I guess that means I’m out of the competition As another poster commented, I noticed that as of today, there are 200-300 fewer Entrant Badges than in either 2013 or 2014. I hope that means the list is still not complete.
There was an email in mid-December notifying her. Because it said “Entrant” she thought that it didn’t mean much. We are new to this and don’t really understand the rules. Good luck to you, @rowerruns. I hope you get one, too.
@rowerruns don’t worry. Many people most likely didn’t get a badge. It’s only the second year of the badging system. Last year not everyone who got selected as a semi, got a badge. In fact in mid december, last year, the system deleted all of the badges for everyone. So it’s glitchy and doesn’t mean anything in terms of qualification.
But do make sure you made an account on the SSP badging website.
