Hi everyone! this is the June '15 thread. Ask questions or discuss whatever you want to but DON’T breach the terms of use.
@lionbeast
Looks like I didn’t take my own advice.
@UAS998
I forgot to solve the erasers and pencils question so I’ll do that here:
“The combined weight of 3 identical erasers is equal to the weight of a pencil. If the weight of the pencil is 9 grams, what is the weight, in grams, of each eraser?”
This question is pretty much begging me to write down 3e=p in the first sentence, so I’d write that down before even continuing. When I read that the pencils weight is 9 grams I write down p=9 grams. the question asks for the weight of each eraser in grams. We have 2 different equations with the same variable on one side, so we can turn 3e=p and p=9 grams into 3e=p=9 grams. so 3e=p=9 grams, 3e=9 grams, and e=3 grams.

I have a tendency to not omit answers, instead, I get them incorrect. (Missed 11 in improving sentences)
I just wanted to share. Haven’t studied at all for tomorrow’s test.
Best of luck to everyone
For questions that you have no clue on such as some vocab questions and some hard math questions, do you ever omit them?
I just have a habit of never omitting anything. What do you guys think?
