What happened was that the EC in my region went BERSERK (I’m not even kidding) and refused to interview me or anyone else from my school because according to him we were late in scheduling the interview even though we contacted him several weeks before the December 10 deadline. MIT didn’t assign me a different EC for some reason. I then asked them to waive my interview and they did, saying the lack of it wouldn’t put me at a disadvantage (Yeah right…).
