@Anonymoose3 I wouldn’t worry too much about the email thing. It seems a little sketchy and I don’t think very many (if any at all) have had success in determining their decision from it.
I agree @radgreek. I’ll just wait until Monday (though I’m in NYS so I was hoping to get it yesterday :S)
My last day of classes is April 28th but then I have IB exams beginning May 2nd so it’s bittersweet.
We graduate June 10th but a good amount of seniors go on internships from the beginning of May on, which is lit
@radgreek, my brother is at the Naval Academy studying nuclear engineering. Congrats on getting accepted to USNA – the acceptance rate is usually only 7-8%. USNA’s academics are definitely on par with Ivy League schools, but when you throw in all of the other things that have to be done, the difficulty is greatly enhanced. It is not for the faint of heart, but my brother wouldn’t change it for the world.

@radgreek I didn’t apply to many schools. I am accepted to my state safety, NEU (EA), and UVA. Waiting to hear from Georgetown obviously but also Harvard, Brown, and Columbia.
My last day of school is technically May 6, but because of IB testing I’ll be working until May 18, although most of my classes become study halls in mid-April.
@northstarfx thanks for your kind words! I’m so elated to be able to attend, but it definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. I’m trying to make the best decision I can, and it’s required a lot of thinking thus far. I’m not anywhere close to deciding yet! If Gtown is a rejection for me, it’ll probably steer me more toward USNA.
I GOT MY MAIL TODAY AND GOT ACCEPTED!!! I STILL CANT BELIEVE THAT I WILL BE ATTENDING GEORGETOWN THIS FALL :((

I think Georgetown is officially #1. Which is going to make seeing the rejection in the mail tomorrow a lot harder.

@kaitlynjoy Thank you! I really appreciate all the support you guys give. It’s awesome to know that we’re all rooting for each other. That said, I’m really trying not to get my hopes up. It is weird to think that I’ll know as soon as I pick up the envelope, though. Also, if the mail doesn’t come tomorrow I may have to take drastic measures.

The post office is less than a block away from my house… Every time I drive by, I feel like I just have this desperate look on my face. :))
