Official Acceptance Page for Fall 2012!

First of all, congratulations so far to everyone that has been accepted! I figured since people are just now starting to receive acceptance notices on their portals, we could have a page with stats and info. Please say:

What your major is
Where you’re from (city, state)
Whether you’re a transfer or a high school graduate
GPA
test scores
when you submitted your application
any other info you feel is relevant

And good luck to everyone who has yet to hear of their status!!

I am posting for my son who never goes on college confidential:

What your major is: Industrial Technology (School of Business)

Congrats universityfreak! Is this your second CP Mustang? Was he accepted ED back in December?

any other info you feel is relevant: 3 AP classes, several honors

Thanks Ralph4! Yes this is my second mustang. But you take the cake with a third mustang. Congrats to you as well.

Industrial Technology is a Business major. So Poly is moving on to the second largest college Business…next is Liberal Arts…0.0

3.68 GPA for a Freshmen getting into Ind. Technology is on the lower end, so that it is a good sign.

There is also more of a chance to get in with lower GPAs under the 3 big colleges-Agriculture, Business, and Liberal Arts.

^ Considering I haven’t heard of any Engineers getting in and that is the largest program, I think they are doing it in alphabetical order, since people in agriculture got in.

I don’t think the business school has started releasing decisions yet. My son applied early decision. Sorry for any confusion.

Oh got ya. So Business has not heard back yet.

If they are going in alphabetical order by college then Architecture would be next, followed by Engineering, and then Liberal Arts.

hey sorry ive been reading this website for awhile and never felt the need to make a post until today. i checked around 11 then 4 and sometime in between there i got in!
