Slobound: sometime between 9:00 to 9:50 am PT.

Swaknative:
Thanks for the info. I feel at this stage of the process it is necessary to have an idea of portal notfication time frames. Congratulations !!!

Thanks slobound. I feel your frustration. I was one of those parents fanatically clicking on the status button since the first acceptances were released (2/16) on a regular basis LOL. My D was not nearly as antsy  Anyway, good luck - hope you hear something soon.

I read elsewhere that you consider Cal Poly your safety. I am sure you will be accepted somewhere you want to attend. It is up to you, but I suggest that you go ahead and appeal. Why not? I find their statement that it is too early to be waitlisted but that you have already been waitlisted strange. Aerospace engineering must be super-competitive this year.
There is nothing wrong with an appeal asking to know exactly why you have been waitlisted and be certain that the proper guidelines were followed. Cal Poly itself will benefit by making sure its system is working correctly. By the way, I have heard that last year they admitted the biggest freshmen class ever and this year they are trying not to admit that many students. I heard the dorms were severely overcrowded last year because of the large freshmen class size.
