OFFICIAL: Accepted or not Northeastern University

Have most people gotten their decisions by mail yet? If you have, can you please post your location! I'm from MA eagerly anticipating my envelope, but a classmate tried to tell me that those won't be sent out until New Year's Eve... is this true?

yoyorks, I was told that if you would like to have your application reviewed for honors status , then you can request to have it looked at. We didn't choose to because other than the honors housing, there was no benefit. My daughter was right on the line, but chose not to contest it. She is happy where she is

Honors Program! So excited :)

My sats: 1080 Math 610 reading 470

i saw that two people got a lot of money for pharmacy, but other than that, did anyone receive over $10,000?

I've noticed that people in the pharmacy program seem to have gotten a lot less money than any other program. I received $10,000 and was admitted to the honors program, but my brother applied two years ago, did not get into honors, and received more money with lower stats.

these are my stats:
GPA: 3.86 unweighted
rank: 7/305
SAT: 1440/2230
SAT IIs: Math II - 730, Chem - 690
I have taken the hardest classes possible at my high school (all honors and 6 APs - chemistry, stats, french, english, bio, calc)
I have a lot of extracurriculars, including several community service groups, captain of varsity swim team, and student government.

accepted arts and sciences. honors program. 14k per year scholarship.

^I wonder why some people get $14k per year, while others (like myself) get it for the first year and then $7k thereafter.

BLINKANGEL44 -- Are you sure it's $7000 per YEAR or is it per SEMESTER? My daughter had a similar scholarship and I thought it was $7000 per SEMESTER.....did I read it wrong?

No it's per semester. With the Co-op program not all students are in school for a whole year they might take classes one semester and have a co-op the next. So they just specify by saying $7,000 per semester so people don't think they're getting money while on Co-Op

Wow, you're right! That kinda changes things, lol. I think some people before me had said it was per year, which made me assume the same thing! Thanks for the clarification :)
