@udayngp
it’s postdated on Dec. 10; I received it on Dec. 11.
I think NYU sent int’l mails a bit earlier so don’t worry if you haven’t received anything yet. =)

panics WHERE IS MY DECISION.

PLEASE POST STATS OF ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTIONS ON

OFFICIAL ACCEPTED OR REJECTED THREAD - CLASS OF 2014. It has the codes entered for you and is much more detailed then this thread. thank you!

I also forgot to mention that I did the Tisch Summer Program back in 2008. I think that definitely helps.

I’m looking at all of your stat pages and they’re all much higher than mine…

accepted to stern :slight_smile:
good luck to everyone still waiting!

Does the letter arrive in the regular mail or is it brought by ups?

Almost positive it comes in regular mail.

My D is in! woohoo! Tisch, drama !!! (Illinois) Regular mail - large white envelope. Post- marked Dec. 11th Last name at the beginning of the alphabet - so hang in there - good luck everyone!

I’LL BE THE FIRST BRAVE ONE TO POST:

REJECTED FROM GALLATIN.

Disappointed? Not really. Taken back? Yes. Granted, my scores and grades were not as high as some of the acceptances (some within 10-30 points), but they were higher than quite a few LSP and even ED students. My ECs are probably among the best, if not the best, on this forum. My essay was solid. The only source of insane weakness to be not only rejected from Gallatin, but even from LSP, is the letter of recommendation from my guidance counselor.

I’ll probably have to wallow over a marathon of Burn Notice, but, hey - there are plenty of other colleges out there and I can always try to transfer in down the road.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! :)

@Monoclide.

I forgot to mention that my envelope arrived today Dec 14 but was postmarked Dec 9th.I live in Florida so that took a long time.
I sent my application on Oct 30 my birthday.
I’m not sure what made a difference.I’m sure being a URM helped although both of my parents are Physicians.Neither of them attended NYU.
I did write an unusual answer to the famous New Yorker prompt.I basically wrote a alternate version of a "Supermarket in California "replacing it with a Deli in Greenwich Village.That meant the famous NY’er was Walt Whitman.I don’t know if they liked or hated that.
