The answer to the graph problem on einstein was the one that looked like a 'U' on the page (parabola)

I said it was the U shaped one since the new experiment was essentially a horizontal shift in a periodic function...(sorry, my math brain has taken over).

The new experiment started where the old experiment was a day 150...So, the values had to shift over that direction. Thus, at 150 it was at its max, so the new graph's maximum had to be at zero and at the end of the experiment while decreasing, then increasing in the middle

Nothing? You freak of nature you. :D

Was the graph something that resembled y = x^2 ?

REPEAT QUESTION---has 1 wrong on math ever been a 36?!

I thought einstein was easier than that annoying as mess physics bit on Gain and resistance and junk...

ahh okay good.

I put the graph that looked like a steep mountain with the tip being over 300... it reminded me of skiing, which sounded good to me at the time

anyone else get that?

"I thought einstein was easier than that annoying as mess physics bit on Gain and resistance and junk..."

Funny, I LOVED that part.

Tsmallzxc: I don't think so.

What about in the math section the question with the diastolic heart beat. (People in 20's and 60's find the 50's one).

im so glad that fractional distallates question was there

totally did that all in chem

how good are scaning machines of ACT? I kind of have smudge marks on two of questions......bad eraser

I think my dislike of the gain passage was my complete lack of physics courses, ever. I'm in IB Chem, so it's 3 years of chemistry for me!

Recalculate the slope of the line...or realize that it was y = 1/2x + 110

Plug in 50 for X and you get 135, the correct answer

What about in the math section the question with the diastolic heart beat. (People in 20's and 60's find the 50's one).

The answer was 5 less than the rate of 60 year olds.

You find the slope (gradient).

Diastolic pressure: 135.

I blindly guessed on the heart beat one :S

What about the test scores question from 69 to 78. What was the percentage?

I just used process of elemination on the blood pressure one, and still managed to get it right.
