sin(kx) hits the axis k times so 2sin(kx) will hit the axis the same number of times. The two only affects the amplitude in the vertical direction; it doesn't change how many times the fuction hits the x-axis

hey no one answered this one
was it patient's needs or patients needs or what was it

patients' needs

I put patient's needs

edit: gah

i think i did too...i know i debated between 2 answers for awhile but i think i put patient's needs.

dang, i put it into my calc as 2 sin 2x and forgot that if it was 2sinx origianlly it woulda been 2k originally so the answer woulda been k.

the answer was 24,300. so you're right!

I'm pretty sure it should have been the plural form

n= -n

it makes the most sense. Look at Shahein's explanation.

Ugh! It wasn't patient's?

what was the answer (the letter) to the last question in science?

I agree, I think I put that, I just remembered the probken wrong

It depends on the sentence... I can't remember if it was used as a singular or plural noun

that monkey question was so confusing

x was greater than or equal to 0 and less than 2pi for the interval.

ok when you graph y = sin x there are two spots from x = 0 to x less than 2pi where it crossed the x-axis. then for y = sin 2x there are four crossings. that means 2k is the right answer?

45 rev 360*
------- X 1.5 min X ------ = 24,300. Correct?
1 min 1 rev

I agree with TSA; it was 24,300.

and at what day would theta (in the einstein passage) be greatest? 150, 300, 450, 600 days?

i think i said 300 but i dont remember

Oops, didn't come out right. (45 rev/min) x (1.5 min) x (360*/ rev) = 24,300. Can anyone verify that?

the two was in front of the sin(x), not inside the argument
