and why was the narrator's sister a desert? or maybe it was, what did "desert" imply in her case?

I put "Were dinosaurs endotherms or ectotherms?", Grumpy.

That's what I put

She was lonely...at least what I put

Question : is there any hope of 1 wrong being a 36 on the math...has it ever happened?

I put it implied that she suffered from either aloneness, or isolation, dont remember which

yes thats what i put too :) it just seemed a little too simple...

With the Betty passage:

What was the answer to the question that had the choice about them both wanting to be accepted or something?

Remember, ACT likes simple explanations... Don't ever try to read too much into the answer choices or you will die!

Is there any hope 10 wrong will be a 35? haha :D

Ivy: Dont remember that question... I think that was an answer though, they had that in common

I was unsure on that one. The question was "What main point does the author convey"

I was stuck between the "both wanted accepted" and "rejection is common in high school"... I went with both wanting acceptance.

Yeah, that's what I wrote shahein.

i said wanting acceptance too

For the Jazz Music passage in English, what was the answer to the question: "If the author had deleted the preceeding sentence (The Vanguard (sp) is an underground Jazz Club blah blah blah)?" I think I put "It would lose information describing the setting blah blah". is that right?

I put they both wanted acceptance as well, it was all about him understanding his sister, and that is what he came to understand.

I thought the ACT was extremely easy.

I really didn't care that much about it, so I felt a lot more relaxed than I did the time when I took SAT and SATII.

On the science part I ran out of time. I was breezing through the first questions, then I got to this problem about Einstein or something, and wasted like 20 minutes there. By the time I got to last set of problems (which was really easy) the time ran out, so I filled random ovals.

I thought the Math was reeeallly easy. English was a gazillion times better than the SAT writing, and the reading was better than the SAT CR. I think just the fact that I wasn't stressed about it made me do a lot better.

The AC wasn't working in the place where I took the ACT. I was soooo hot. By the time I had to write the essay, I was like ***. So I don't think I did that good of a job at the essay.

P.S. How many of you are paying the $8 and getting your scores early? (next Tuesday I believe)

I think that was right... I really don't remember the english passage stuff very well though. Probably because I don't like english very much!

TSA: That is what I put as well

I said something that it was important. I mean, when you looked two sentences down, it would make no sense without the club's reference; the lines of pictures on the wall and what not.

TSA- I wrote division.

For the Grandma/Tomato passage, what did you replace for "wedge"?
-Division
-Intervention
-...

I put division.
