I thought the science was ridiculously hard. There were no 5 question passages and 4 7 question passages. There better be a good grading curve on it.

Did anyone else find the reading section way hard?

I find the Science ridiculously difficult. It was my first ACT, but damn if I’ve never been so stumped on a test. Math was easy until the last few questions. I had a solid essay.

I thought some of the questions in the reading were rather difficult. In particular the questions that asked how the author would respond to the question presented in the passage. I have taken 3 ACT’s before and have never seen a question like that. The October taste was much more difficult than the September one for me. Math was average, some of the last few were rather difficult.

I thought Math and English were harder than normal, reading and science easier, and the essay easier…

I thought English was easy, math was easy, reading was really hard, and science was really easy. We’ll see

I thought that Reading and Science were very easy, English a bit harder than before (but still easy), and Math a bit hard (although I am completely confident in all of my answers, I barely finished in time).

I actually feel like this was the easiest science portion I have I ever taken. I definitely think this will be my highest science score. I probably did worse on reading and math than before. English was pretty average.

I thought English was easier than usual, math normal or harder, reading harder (I have never seen a split passage before in any of the practice tests I’ve taken), and science surprisingly easier.

Got a few 32s on a practice reading sections.

On today’s reading section I didn’t even get up to the 4th passage >.>

I thought this science was very easy. Reading seemed a little harder than normal. English was ok, what was up with those vocab questions?! I did not like those at all, none of the words made sense. Hmph. Math was ok until the end, when I was bombarded with trig questions. UGH.
Over all though, it went better than last few times…

I think I took 73A (from VA)… the math and english were really easy… But the reading and science killed me (esspecially the reading).

Okay, did you guys have FORM 73 A or 73B?

73B had reading passages about a guy who meets his friends sister in a grocery store, about the Okfenokee Swamp, a dual passage about Honeybees and Army ants, and a passage about a movie critic. DId you all have those passages?

I have taken practice tests before, but this was probably the hardest I have ever took. I am someone who got a 35 on a reading practice tests, but I will be happy with a 27 on this one. Math was okay, english wasnt too bad, but science was hard as well.

Really? I had 73 A, and thought that the science was quite easy, but the reading was kinda hard. Those passages were really hard to concentrate on Did you get those vocab type questions on the English section? I hated them. None of the words seemed to make sense.

amrita1696 – I thought the english and math were easy… Reading was hard like you said and science (why the heck did they give us a genetic 5-question passage). It was sooo hard.

I know! I thought that genetics passage was the hardest. Too many uppercase and lowercase letters. Aaahhh. D:

I thought english was easy, as usual. The only hard question was hurtle vs. hurdle. Math was okay…some weird questions. Reading was easy except for the first passage. Science was easy.

Different forms had totally different questions?
