There was interferece in the testing room. It screwed most of the test.

@bmsa91, i’d complain if the room really ruined scores that much…
maybe ACT will let you retake it or something…

For the record, if the global body of CC users laugh at my scores I want to say that I’m not stupid okay. The testing room had interference. Okay, so I dont people insulting me or anything.

@Dana I have called emailed them. Havent goten a reply back. I’m taking the test in June though.

=/ im sorry…hopefully they do something about it…
did you complain through that 10-question survey at the end? and did other people complain as well?

bmsa91, at least you beat me on the Reading section,

I scored a 21… lol

Writing ??

Anyone know when the writing scores are gonna be up? Anyway, I’m happy with my score; it was my first time and I’m a sophomore, but I have felt a bit stupid since saturday when I found out about a score at my school that was higher (36)… Lol, I’m trying again next April; maybe I can pull a point or two higher…

The reading seemed difficult this test.

Anybody else agree?

I didnt think so, but it ended up being my single lowest section at a 28. I took it for the first time in April, prepping with the Princeton Review Book and:

I was very worried about the science section, because i felt it was very difficult, but happy with the results. im hoping to retake it and get a 32. With my the score i have now, 29, am i going to competitive test score wise at schools like Johns Hopkins, Emory, or Duke?

Honestly, for the upper tier universities a 29 ACT is especially borderline.

I only got a 30 and I am worried about getting into the University of Florida.

The SAT has historically gotten more respect than the ACT.

Alright, thanks. Looking at the college board stats though, 29 is the bottom number of the 50th percentile of applicants accepted. Like i said though, I’m hoping to bump up to a 31 or a 32. As for getting into UF, i wouldnt stress too much, because i come from a small catholic school and i know a girl who took like 3 AP’s all HS and didnt break 1200 on the SAT and got in. Nothing incredible that i know about. I wouldnt be shaky, unless your other stats are weak. Good luck btw
