It better not be the Amherst waiting list. Psh.

I’m the reason why the waiting list is so awesome, actually. Not to stroke my own ego or anything, of course.

Aww, srrinath! I’m sorry.

Quasi, do you realize that this board was at page 6 yesterday morning?

Haha. Yes, I do. We should put ‘took the Amherst idolatry thread from page 6 to page 19 IN ONE NIGHT’ on our app. That should clinch it.

Actually, I put “College Confidential Amherst RD Thread Raper” on my resume, so I think I’ve officially sealed the deal.

I have nothing to say at this point.

I’m at a loss for words.
:)

On another note: I cannot tell you guys how many times I’ve rewritten, tweaked and trashed my Amherst essays. It was the first essay I started and the last one I’m finishing. Tis a sad, sad tale.

:(

And whose marriage “waiting” list am I on??

You’re on mine, obviously!

Oh, I just about finished my Williams one. Just have to put in another sentence, and I shall forward it to you?

You can be on mine, roomie!

I’m afraid I’ll NEVER have the nerve to submit my Amherst supplement.

Sorry, Quasi, I got to her first. =P

Haha. Yesssss!!! I’m on Quasi’s AND Drama’s. Win?

DC - forward as you wish. I think I’m about to trash all my supplements and redo ALL of them. Because I clearly have the time for it. LOLL

Now that I think about it…the whole college process is soooo over-rated. sigh

And I agree with ClassicsKid.

I <3 you all.
:)

Edit: Btw, I LOVE how we’re always on CC at the same time. Hahahahaha!!

Group marriage FTW.

Nah, MM, no trashing. All this second-guessing will drive you crrrrraaaaaazy, you stick with what you have unless you’re sure it’s crap.

Quasi - when I was skimming through the replies in the last, ohhh gazillion pages, I noticed that someone else had a similar “location” as yours…except the colors were “rose” and “white.”

I SMELL A TRAITOR AMONGST US! ATTACKKK!!

Edit: “Rose” and “gray” - my bad. It was…gapyearstudent. :O

ROFL gappy’s my gay bestie, he’s allowed. :D

A bunch of us on the internationals thread decided to have this location for Christmas.

It’s because we have no livesssss. And we’re all amazing and roommates and shall live happily ever after together. =]

Uh ohs! But, but gapyear seemed so nice…it’s a shame they’re on our traitor list now. =[

EDIT: Nevermind. Gappy’s going to be my new gay best friend, too. Yay!

Quick question relevant to the college process:

So, I have three SAT IIs. I winged them all (bad idea) last month.

US History: 640
Lit:610
Bio/E: 640

Granted, they suck, but I need to send them because I didn’t take the ACTs. (■■■). However, should I just send USH and Bio and nix the Lit, or just send all of them because they all equally suck?

Hmmm…I’d say just send USH and Bio. They require 2 SATII scores, right?

And if I send the ACT with writing, then I don’t have to send them my SAT, right?

^Right.

I have a feeling your percentile for Lit would be higher than for the others though, MM.

And it’s kinda discouraging because my grades in school are flipping awesome - legitimately though. And I’m worried that schools might think I have grade inflation in my school - which I don’t.

So, which to send?

Or rather, I don’t have to submit any SATII scores, right? I’ll probably send my regular SAT, I just don’t wanna do the whole subject test thing. =]

She makes a good point, MM!
EDIT: If your grades in school are outstanding, then just send your two highest scores.

Er…I dunno, DC. You might want to check their website.

But, but that requires doing work. Which I am entirely opposed to doing.
