official answer explanations

Hi,
I bought the Official SAT Study Guide 2nd edition over the summer. Until recently, I've been able to log onto www.collegeboard.com/satstudyguide to get the official answer explanations for each section of each practice test in the book. For the past few weeks, however, it's been almost impossible to access them online. I go to the website, type in my ID and password and then get stuck in an advertisement for the SAT online course! Last week I was finally able to go round and round and see where to click, but this week it isn't working at all. What used to happen is, I'd see a list of tests (test 1, test 2, test 3, etc) and then when I clicked on the test, there would be a list of choices (section 1, section 2, section 3, etc). This isn't happening anymore. Has anyone else had this experience? Is the site having difficutlies or are they no longer allowing anyone access to the answer explanations? This is so frustrating!
Thanks.

I have the same problem. It’s leading me to the 1st edition

I don’t understand why it used to work and now it doesn’t. Maybe something is wrong with the website. I sent an email, so hopefully someone will respond soon with directions for how to access the answer explanations.

Hey Everybody,

I had the same problem before, but it appears that the college board has fixed the issue and the answer explanations are available again.

Thank you to the college board and everyone that told them!

Thanks PCwizCube!

I had the same problem, and tried to fix it myself. So just sharing it here in case CB acts up again. If it happens such that when you log in, all you see is the First Edition BB, check the URL at the top of the page. It should say something like, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/www.satonlinecourse.collegeboard.com/........&fromFirstEdition=yes

I just changed the “First” to “Second”, and it worked :p
