idk about the older questions, i’ve only done the recent ones and i get around 24 for each - those weren’t too hard

yeah the recent ones seem easier. take a look back at the older ones tho, like some stuff i know but other stuff is out of anything ive ever learned…

it’s a good thing the newer questions are easier for you because the questions tomorrow will probably be along the same lines

oh haha cool, thanks. i got like 7s and 8s for the more recent frqs, but looking at 1999-2003 made me feel so stupid LOL

I am so hoping that if I happen to get the lab FRQ that it is the Drosphilia chi-square one because that’s the only one I’ve looked at.

I’m hoping the lab frq is based on hardy-weinberg (but what do you bet we get stuck with the dna lab…ugh, I need to go over this stuff again)

@Matugi
as long as you know how to set up and work a basic lab you can tackle just about any one of those question

we should all take it upon ourselves to remember 5 questions so that we can compile an exhaustive list after the test
(just kidding)

ill do 1-5

if i got a 59/100 on that super hard 2008 practice test and normally average around 72/100 for the regular released tests and average about a 7/10 for the essays, what’s the chance i can get a 5 on the real deal?
i’m praying one of the international version test takers will give us pointers as to which units are heavy on the exam :/

one issue that gets me everytime…

for pedigrees, how do we find out if the pedigree is sex-linked or autosomal?

After we find out sex-linked or autosomal, how do we know if its sex-linked/autosomal dominant/recessive?

It is not sex linked if both parents have it but neither child does. That would almost automatically make it autosomal dominant and the parents are heterozygotes.

Usually, if the ratio of affected females and males is 50/50, it’s autosomnal. Then if it skips generations, autosomal recessive.

If more males affected, x-linked recessive.
more females-- x-linked dominant.

lab review 1-12…what you need to know.

[AP Biology Lab Review](http://www.scribd.com/dawpa2000/d/26258095-AP-Biology-Lab-Review)

I think as long as you put something competent for the lab question you’ll be fine. You probably don’t have to perfectly emulate the lab.

Is anyone in here super confident in their anatomy knowledge?

Is that Fast Plant lab you talked about similar/equal to the fruit fly lab? I’m pretty sure my teacher decided not to do the plant one because the painstakingly long time it would take to finish.

romaine, what do you mean about anatomy? now that i think about it, i don’t think i’ve seen much anatomy on the tests nor cram books. :(

@storme Yeah, I think it’s the same. I believe we did the chi-square test with it with 3 degrees of freedom as well as recombination frequency (which we also did with the asci lab)

Romaine, same here
If the exam was just anatomy, I’m pretty sure I’d get like 4 or 5 wrong total.
Awesomeness.

I feel really unprepared on like plant systems and cell respiration and that kind of thing though.
…I took a practice exam today (the CB released one) and I got a 75/100. I really need better tomorrow :(
