so .... what'd everyone think?

it was okay... the 4 free response i answered all but part c of question 3 i answered it a little and didnt elaborate and part a of question 2 i made it up too

the first free-response question was easy.
MP was okay, as I expected

What's the curve? Anyone know the conversion from raw to scaled?

:(

i got pwned by the free response. i only filled like a page and a half and didn't have much to say...

i think i did well on the multiple choice though. i thought i could get a 5... maybe ill get a 4, though.

It was the hardest AP exam I took so far... I've taken Eng Lit and History. But this is far the hardest.... the multiple choice ...I guessed in most of the questions :(

i thought the MC was pretty straight forward. I left a few blank. I thought the FR was pretty easy as well...but i wasnt a big fan of #3 (& the subject matter).

Though most people that I talked to thought it was REALLY hard.

The test was honestly, by no means, a suprise. I mean, the multiple choice was relatively easy. The free response wasn't hard at all; it really depends upon what they award points for. All and all, I think i did exquisitely; knocking on wood of course.

how come you're all online?

...isn tit school time

im in yearbook... and we're done with it.

i thought the multiple choice wasnt bad at all....the first two free response were fine but 3 and 4 are ofcoarse the chapters i totally skimmed thru lol made up most of the stuff ....but i think i did well enough on the mc to get me a 4

i am very annoyed at the serious LACK of stuff i knew amazingly welll

Students who take AP classes don't have to go to class if they don't have an AP class in the afternoon in my school. All of my AP's are in the morning, with the exception of Biology which is the afternoon--and well, I was exempt.

i thought the mc were pretty easy. if u get 85/100 and just entirely skip one essay you still get a 5, which was pretty cool since there were exactly 15 i was slightly unsure about.. although i probably got other ones wrong anyway -_-

essay number 3 wasn't so much unexpected as it was unwanted haha
oh well, its just one essay. write a few key words down and u get at least 2/10
essay number 2 was a little vague i thought but whatever

i also thought the lab questions at the end were very generous compared with the practice ones we got from the old 120 q test

I thought the lab questions were far easier than the ones I'd seen in practice tests, except for one question (I'm not discussing it! Don't hurt me!). The FRQ weren't that difficult in themselves, but in contex of the sheer amount of material in AP bio..

Yeah, at my school if you have an AP exams you don't have to go to any classes

can someone figure out the calculation, i left about 15 blank on the mc (fairly sure i got the rest right, im paranoid about guessing), and prob got like 5 wrong, and prob got like a 5/6 avg on all the essays (cuz they grade hard)...what does that come out too?

AP biology this morning...definitely not as hard as I anticipated. The first half of the MC was cake. The middle was a little difficult though. Yeah...the questions on the 12 labs was almost like ACT science; the answer was logical and stuck out like a sore thumb and you didn't really have to really KNOW the stuff.

The essays were fine. 1 and 2 were just easy. I skipped 3 and came back to it after writing 4...ugh I just started writing everything I knew about it for question 3. Hopefully some of it was right?

Does anyone know what the essay score range should be to get a 5? Like 30+ points?

k wait i got the calculations:
( Number correct ( ) - .25x Number wrong ( ) ) x .900 = MC Score
1.500 x each essay out of 10, add together = FRQ Score
86-150 = 5
66-85 = 4
48-65 = 3
This is what is in Sparknotes Practice Test for AP Biology, they are pretty accurate. But i still think it won't be this lenient, maybe 93-150 will be 5, and so on..idk, it just seems kinda silly cuz i left about 15 blank, and say i get 5 wrong, then im at 80 and - 1 = 79. 79x.25=71.1. Even if i get a 3 on all the essays, thats 3x1.5 = 4.5 x 4 = 18, its 71.1 + 18 = 89.1, so in the worst case scenerio for the numbers i just put..my score is still a 5..so idk, but atleast it gives you the calculation and gives you a somehwat idea of what to expect =)

MC was fine but we hadn't finished the curriculum, so that last essay really pulled a mongol on me.

I thought it was pretty hard. I did ok, but I don't think I did well.
