Official: AP Biology 2011 Post-Test Discussion

Remember, don't discuss multiple choice until 48 hours after the test.

No, you dont discuss multiple choice ever, but you can discuss free response 48 hours after the test

Way too easy. I didn’t need to study over anything of a certian subject I did. I honestly believe I scored over 120/150. I don’t think there were more than 5 questions I had no idea to.

Overall, pretty easy. I didn’t study at all and I’m fairly confident I got a 5. The multiple choice was easy, and the concepts for the essay’s weren’t anything I hadn’t seen before.

We got lucky on FRQ’s. They could have been WAYYYY harder.

I def. mixed up intra- and extracullular digestion :/. I said annalids did intracellular :(

So glad I’m done, that was my last important AP of the year, so I’m virtually done with high school! :D

It was a lot easier than I thought it’d be, especially after the trauma that was Calc BC. People have said that all the APs have gotten harder because they took away the guessing penalty, but I don’t think so. Has anyone else heard that? I’m confident I got at least a 4, which is all I need for college.

Harvard: I totally agree. My friend who took the course last year was REALLY ****ed when she heard how easy our topics were.

Ehh, I don’t know. Personally, I thought some of the questions were pretty difficult. Heck, they even misspelled a word in one of the answers to a question.

The FRQs were not that bad to be honest. Though I’m certainly I only got a 10 on the third question, I believe I managed to squeeze at least 5 points out of the other three, which works well enough for me. ^_^

Crazy easy, I was so surprised

Pretty easy in my opinion

Brah, I’m a freshman and I’m just gonna say, I studied was too much. That was too easy, though I did not expect so many graphs and charts. There’s gonna be a pretty low curve though.

Thank you! College board and ets people! I love how you made ap biology exam tobe really easy! I hope you did the same for ap chemistry and ap statistics too!

what word was misspelled???

honestly i thought it was hard, even though i studied. maybe i’m just stupid haha hopefully i got like a 3

I switched up intracellular and extracellular how many point will they take off?

Thought multiple choice was easy and frq was moderate. Probably got around 87 on MC and around 7 or 8 on each frq. Last frq’s last part c was weird cause I ddin’t know the second formula, so probably got a 6 or 7 on that one.

I don’t remember but it was a word in one of the answer choices that I’m pretty confident was the right answer for the question in hand.

They award no points for incorrect information.

****tt

But all I did was switch up intracellular and extracellular.
: (

Anyone have an idea of how many multiple choice you need to get correct for a 5? also, how many points do you need on the free response?
I know no one knows for sure, but still any educated guesses?
