***Official AP Calculus BC Thread 2014-2015***

So quiet. Glad my school lets me go home after these.

I think I either got a 4 or a 5. Did you guys have Form O or Form G? I had Form G and it sounds like G is harder than O.

Does the entire school have the same form? I had O. Seems like the test is still different though, among the form – maybe reordered, I don’t know.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

1+1=2 right? Really had trouble on that problem. -.-

@frigidcold same here. My calculator froze for 5 minutes when I tried to put it in. Luckily I was able to figure it out right before time was called.

In all seriousness, did anybody with form G think some individual parts for the FRQ were challenging? In total, I think I got 4 parts in total wrong. Kinda mad because our teacher told us to not worry about some of those types of problems b/c they rarely show up but ofc they show up this year…

I thought the non-calculator portion was very hard. But the non calculator portion was not bad at all. If I got, lets say, a 38 - to 43 composite score, is that a 2 or a 3?

@Oblivion96 Same I wasn’t able to finish the multiple-choice for non calc and there a few on the calc-active mc i had trouble with. I thought the FRQs were the easiest things I’ve ever seen. I was just flying through them, which is sorta scaring me now because I feel like half of the questions had little tricks in them that I missed because I was going so fast

Heh, I’m taking the test late, on the 21st. I took the class online, so I had to turn in an AP exam order form to my counselor. I ended up having to switch schools just after spring break though, so my new school has to order it late. Luckily, I won’t have to pay any late fees.
I’ll have more time to prepare, but that also means more time to procrastinate. Plus, I’ll have to study for finals in other classes too. Damn.

The first 5 frqs were perfect for me, unless there was silly mistake. The calculator mc was also easy. Unfortunately I did not know like 8 of the questions of the non calculator mc. Do you think I have a spot for a 5?

The non-calculator part was easy for me (relative) and the calculator portion was absolute destruction. At first the questions were good but by the end I was guessing.

The FRQs were FRQs.

I actually thought a couple of the tasks on the FRQ were pretty surprising in that they haven’t been seen on the FRQ in recent years…a little different than usual, but still not bad at all.

Was it just me or did anyone else think that the FRQ section was quite hard…? I was studying for chem and had been neglecting calc… so much regret ._.

Did any of you guys take AB?

My proctor said something about initialing the top of each page on the FRQ in the direction. I wasn’t quite listening. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

@BassGuitar I have no idea. My proctor did not say anything to me.

@agupte It was probably about the initials on the front, upon further consideration.

@BassGuitar I think that was if you had extra sheets of paper you had to write the question and the AP number

No calc was relatively straight foward, calculator portion was a bit more conceptual and required more thinking, and FRQ’s rekt me good. I had form G, seems like it was harder

@SheepLover Yeah that was it! Phew.
