@Pkteen No I finished on time and that is how many I missed.

@Niquii no I don’t know where to find another test o.o

@Des: Just type “ap chem released mc” (or something to that effect) into Google. Click on the link that is sites.google and you have the tests from '84 to '08.

Wow… I tried searching but I guess that all I needed was “released”.

@Descuff Do what lldm said. Take one section of MC. Then for the rest, get the answers and go through question by question to look if what you would’ve answer is what the correct answer is. If it isn’t. Google the information that you need to know and learn it.

Here’s all the tests for chemistry that were released from 84- 08 except for 2012.

@Niquii:

Yeah, I’ve gotten percentages of 60 (practice exam), 66 (released), 70 (released), and 71 (PR), respectively. I guess I’m just worried about the FRQs; I don’t know anything about orgo (I know it’s rare, but still), and I’m not so good with reactions (I’m generally hit or miss) or acid-base equilibrium. & we’ve only done 3 or 4 labs all year because we all suck at labs and hate doing them (and my teacher hates grading them because of the former point).

I got 2012 and okie-dokie niquii

Does anyone have any official multiple choice exams(preferably with answers) past 2005?

^nevermind, didn’t see mets5life’s post. thanks

PR MC question:

x^2 = (0.12)(3.0 x 10^-8) = .36 x 10^-8
x = .60 x 10^-4, or 6.0 x 10^-5

Are there a lot of decimal-y questions like this? I didn’t even get to that step, but I feel like I wouldn’t have even realized that .6 is .36^.5 if I had (math isn’t my strong point).

Well when I take the square root of gross decimals like that, I always do it in parts:

So the first part is to find the square root of .36, which is a pretty easy calculation and amounts to .6

The second part is to divide the exponent by 2, which is a trick my chem teacher showed me, therefore instead of being 10^-8, your new exponent would be 10^-4

And so your final magical answer is .6 x 10^-4

My free response scores are all over the place! I’m really hoping for electrochemistry! Time to move onto MC practice…

get in here bretheren

Holy mother of God. I did much worse this time… I missed 55 out of 75 O.O
I’m doomed. And I felt pretty confident.

Descuff! What do you mean 55 out if 75??? Did you take the full allotted time without any distractions?

I had like 20 minutes left, a 3 minute distraction and No calculator. I even wrote all the numbers as I went a along. This is exactly what happened when I took the practice test.

Also I noticed that I did well in the first 15 with 7/15 correct but then started getting off with 4/15, 2/15, 4/15, 4/15.

Those are separate 15 problems.

This is going to be a bad time…

I took the practice test out of the Princeton and got a 67/75 -_-. I’m hoping my multiple choice will compensate for my bad free-response.
