This thread is to disucss the multiple choice section on the AP Chem test. Keep on posting any questions that come to your mind, and I will periodically make an official track of the answers. I took the test today, and I think I got above 70% on the section.

Thought it was harder than normal, but manageable. At a minimum, 65/75 for me.

Warning. You are not allowed to disclose any MC questions and answers in this forum. See the sticky “AP Announcement and Warning thread”.

Not to mentions it is ILLEGAL to discuss the content of any AP exam for two days.

^^ That too. But this thread is intended for MC.

Officially, there should not be an “Official AP Chemistry Multiple Choice Discussion” thread. LOL.

How is it illegal. That agreement they make you sign is not enforceable in most cases.

^ Read the case from 2004. It is illegal for sure, but whether they can catch you is another story. If you want to take the chance, it is your call. This forum will comply with collegeboard’s requirement as it was stated in the sticky thread.

Lol just because there is a lack of enforcement doesn’t mean it’s not illegal. Besides the mods will most certainly follow the rules.

Yeah, this will be shut down soon.

@bill what case are you referring to?

^ All AP score of that person got cancelled and banned from future test.

You can talk about them but just don’t get caught. On here it’s too easy to post and get caught.

can you provide a link to that article

It is in the sticky under AP.

There is no way to know whether or not that is true. Someone could have easily created a bogus story to scare people into following the collegeboards ridiculous rules. A person under the age of 18 cannot, in most circumstances, enter into a legally binding contract. The fact that most people believe they are bound by those signed “agreements” is laughable and its said that organizations like collegeboard even try to make people sign them.

Hey guys. The collegeboard will not undergo a thorough investigation of all of us. If they did, almost everybody on college confidential would have gotten investigated for the SAT, Subject Test, or AP at one point. Can we please discuss the MC questions without any fear

Perhaps they will not sue you, but they have the right to cancel your score as you have been forewarned. After all, you are the one responsible for what you do. CC has been posting this warning every year until they put it in the sticky. It is not worth it to test the system as you are not gaining anything. It would not change your score even if you find out all the answers now. Why risk to lose all the scores.

Calm down and let people do why they want, bill. People have been discussing these for years. They know the risk. Let them take it.

Lol if a great number of people do it, we could countersue them for infringement on our rights
