OFFICIAL AP Chemistry thread

I just came back from mine.

Everybody who studied found it super easy. I've been slacking and I walked into the exam relying SOLELY on memory.

Multiple was kinda difficult for me, the FRQ's were EASY.

So head's up to those who prepared a lot or little, it's not too bad!

it was a joke. multiples were easy except for two or three questions, and all the FRQs were so easy compared to former tests. im so glad that i took regular instead of late cuz i was thinking of changing the exam date.

Thanks for the good news! I'm taking it in an hour.

Im Taking It In An Hour Too!!!

was the equilibrium problem hard?

what about the product predictions?

that's cool.

i take it in an hour 45 (8 Central time)

i've studied my butt off and have taken 3 practice tests at home.. hopefully i'll do well

yeah.. everyone Animo!! hope we all ace APCHEM :D

Ahhhh not everyone do well! I want the curve to help me with the multiple to get a 5!!!

I didn't know around 25 multiple questions, was sure of almost 40, guessed 10-ish.

Written I aced it, I seriously answered every single question, correctly.

So who knows...Not sure how AP chem curve goes, but hopefuly I'll land a 5 thanks to the joke written.

so anybody know the forumla or like statistics to get a 5?

I'm done too, it was pretty good.

MC was awesome!

Finished!!!!

MC wasn't too bad; FRQ was easier than I expected.

that was easy... I finished the MC's in about 35 minutes and then I darkened the bubbles for the rest of the time :/

The FRQ was good except for one part of one of the questions....

hate the eq problem. did not study/even learn that type or eq.

part b sec ii was SO easy. and so was the prod prediction...

mult choice...didnt cover as much as i thought it would

i thought the MC was better than the practice tests i took... the FR had a couple of tricky parts.. but for everything else, i'm sure i got it right

so i think i can get a 5 (i did on the practice tests i took).. i'll see in July i guess

i seriously don't understand you guys.
i thought it was the hardest test i've ever taken.
i drew cartoons on the FR that i didn't know to keep myself from crying.

Some people in my class thought it was hard, some though it was easy. It all depends on what you're good at.

The MC was okay... I would've done better if I paid more attention in class or studied at all this year, lol. But I'm pretty sure I got at least 60% of them right..

the net ionics were really hard! I think I only got either the second or third right :/ and maybe the questions after them.

Equilibrium was SO easy!! I'm glad it wasn't a Ksp equilibrium, I suck at those! the rest of the FQ were pretty easy, btu the second to last I didn't know how to do like half of it so I gave up and doodled lol

i was hoping for a Ksp or Ka/b problem...but noooo.
and i mean, all the equil problems are basically the same format...but i FREAKED OUT because i wasnt very familiar with the one they gave

wg90210, that is why you can't just memorize the types of problems they have. FRQs are supposed to be very different from year to year to encourage critical thinking... not memorization.
