I would focus on a couple topics to know really in depth. Like, study the French Revolution and the Thirty Years War like crazy. That way, you’ll be able to kill one frq, and it won’t matter so much about the other one you wouldn’t have done so well on anyway

@thelastyogurt, this might actually be the year they drop an EU question on us.

can someone please explain enlightened despotism? my book did a horrible job…

Does anyone know a “video review” type thing for ap euro? I’m more of a visual learner (who does NOT do well with history), and at this rate im going to get a 1.

I believe someone posted a link to a video thing earlier in this thread…take a look thru it. I’d watch them if I have time, but so far I’m just reading thru my notes.

^I went through the entire thing and i couldnt find it :(

@chocolatecriket- I’ll have to see where I saw that then. I can’t right now, gotta finish studying AP Psych- exam tmrw!!!

oh i got one of them [UC Berkeley Webcasts | Video and Podcasts: History 5](<a href=“Webcast and Legacy Course Capture | Research, Teaching, and Learning”>Webcast and Legacy Course Capture | Research, Teaching, and Learning)

I’m just constantly playing those video’s even if I’m only paying half attention

It’s only letting me watch the one on the renaissance which is pretty annoying

Well now that AP Psych is over it is time to focus on Euro…so what is going on in this thread?

AP Psych done, and now, a week full of monarchical states and pre-Napoleon.

I’ve memorized post-Napoleon quite well, especially Cold War era.

premed4: WHICH VIDEOS?
PLEASE LINK ME!!!

This has probably been posted before but I am going to post it again

Ok so I have a couple of questions regarding European history, anyone mind clearing up some confusions?

What are the differences between socialists, communists, and Marxists? I know that socialists still practice private property while the means of production is controlled by the state why communists abhor all private property. But are there other differences?

How important is it to know specific dates/years for events on the AP test? And I’m talking about when books were published or the reign of specific rulers, not generally known events like when WWI started and such.

good questions ^^
