No summer assignment, already loving this class

Advice: Listen to Hankās History Hour on iTunes and buy Crash Course.

Taking it next year and Iām excited! I used the same site for APUSH so hereās the Euro page I found: http://www.historyteacher.net/APEuroCourse/EHAPQuizMainPage.htm

I will also be taking it and Iām excited too. But at the same time Iām a little nervous because it will be my first ap and also the class is notorious in my school for being one of the hardest class. I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations on any books I can use as supplements to the class so that I can review or preview materials learned in class. Or is there any preparations I can do over the summer? I plan on getting the modern European history by Viault since I heard is good as a preview some what to the class. I also plan on getting the crash course and PR book to prepare for the exam but I didnāt think these would be a good supplement to the class. Any suggestions or advice?

bump back to the first page lol

Theres a new channel on youtube doing review videos: - YouTube;

Might be helpful!

Wow this thread is deadā¦ Are there no AP Euro people this year??
Hey, Iām taking Euro this year too also a sophā¦ I took world last year and got a 5 and am hoping to do the same this year (also taking AP Psych). Iām starting my review now; in the course we are in the 20th century but its best to start early. Iām using Princeton (barely), CrashCourse (which Iāll review more and more about a month from the test date), and REAās big book (using this a lot).
Iād say DONT cram, for many kids its their first AP class, so if you want to succeed put some work into it!!
Good luck in your AP (and other life) endeavors,

Iām taking AP Euro this year. I already am using Barronās and Iāll probably use some Crash Course videos and such. I just started the course in December, so Iām a bit ābehindā (just finished the Napoleonic wars). How are you guys feeling about the test by this point in time? TBH, Iām feeling pretty good so farā¦The fact that we choose 1/3 FRQ to answer makes me feel less nervous about getting a FRQ on a topic I know nothing about, haha.
Well, weāve only got a month and a half to study - Iām going over the beginning units in depth. In my class we are on the period before WWI and WWII. What about you guys?
Finishing off WWI in class; iām also starting to go over material (since I have Spring Break this week)ā¦PR is pretty easy to follow, and crash course is also a nice light readā¦hopefully weāll all do well
We are about to take our FRQ and multiple choice on the cold war/economic unification. Then we get 2 1/2 weeks for review until May 8th!
ugh weāre still in the cold warā¦
Has anyone done this practice test? Does it seem a lot easier than the actual exam??
I got 64/80, so I donāt know if itās easier than it should be, or if my studying has just paid off!
^Which practice test?
Never mind, think an admin removed it or something. Anyway, I just got a 54/80 out of a princeton review practice test, but got a 65/80 on a barrons one that I took mid-April. Is barrons too easy or princeton too hard? Or is one of them closer to what the actual exam will be like?
Why is this thread so short?Z
Hey how prepped are you guys? I just got a chance to start studying after chem :s
how are you prepping for frqs?
Oh lol not even prepped at all. I finished reading crash course today and planning to take like 10 practice tests this week (probably wont even happen).
For FRQās if i even have time Iām gonna pre-make groupings by chapter and get my facts down, but multiple choice is by far the priority.
^Where are you going to get 10 practice tests?
What book are you using guys? I have both princeton and barronās but i dont know which oneās the best. Both books have promising reviews but I dont know which one I should stick with.
