Unless they changed it this year, but I don’t think they did
Yeah it’s just 2 per group
looking at all these tweets about question 1 lol
I grouped it like this with an overall focus on controversy between
- Invasion/Immigration
- Impacts of Globalization
- Definition of Nationality
I am worried about overlapping too much
Also I went with essays 4 and 6 for the FRQs
Also thought the MC was ultra tough, In recent days we took 3 tests in our class and got 62,50, and 48 right but I’d say I was hitting in the mid 30’s on that one (way too many theory over specific)
Was hoping for a high 4 or low 5 coming in now I just want a 3 lol
@emersonballer21 those are the groupings i got. Sweet jesus those frqs sucked. All that time i wasted studying for the cold war and women and its all before the french revolution. MC was super easy though.
Agree with @Waldoizhere about the MC
Thank god i studied the reformation amd enlightenment so many times. There was next to no questions about ww1 or ww2. Also practically no cold war. Some of the questions were really absurd. At this point im only worried about my dbq. If i got a 6 or above, I know I’ll get a 5.
me too. studied the crap out of the reformation and reviewed philosophes: Voltaire, Rousseau, Locke and Hobbes right before the test. Was hoping for WW1 and 2 questions tho. I didn’t know half of the last ten since they were after the cold war and i ran out of time
It’s actually pretty funny reading the everyone’s responses about the test on Twitter lol
The only reason I knew question number 1 was that it was in my prep book. Apparently no one else taking it with me knew it.
Time was the one issue i didnt have. I finished half an hour early on each section. I got so bored i added a document to my dbq.
how long were your essays? I was writing till the last second.
Dbq was like 3.25 pages. Frqs were about 1.75 pages
MC was very hit or miss for me - I either knew the answer straight away or had never even heard of it. I was averaging around 55-60 on the practice tests, but I would not be surprised if I got a 40 on the MC.
DBQ was kind of hard for analyzing point of view - there were only like two or three very obviously biased docs, and it was hard because my teacher ran out of time for everything after the 1950s. Oops.
I picked 4 and 6 for the FRQ. I thought I nailed 4 (it was only 4 paragraphs, but I had a lot of very specific/varied examples), but I was so tired by the time I got to 6 that you could tell I just didn’t really care any more. My school will only give non-elective credit for a 5, but that seems pretty foolishly optimistic at this point lol.
I picked 2 and 6. So did literally all my classmates, and we all wrote about the same crap. For the dbq i had grouped like 5 diff times before i settled on the ones i did
:o
My DBQ was 5-6 pages and my FRQ’s were 2-3
I got a 72/80 on the practice MC my teacher gave, so I’ll give myself a 64/80 on the real thing
But I screwed up 1 FRQ and rushed the other in 15 mins so I think I’ll get a 4 or 5.
