Official AP Human Geography thread 2012

Does anyone have a link to the released 2001/2006 tests? It would be greatly appreciated!

^ yeah, does anyone have any released tests?

[AP Central - The AP Human Geography Exam](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>AP Human Geography Exam – AP Central | College Board)

here you go. it’s 01 through 11

What about the MCs? I only have the 2 PR tests and would like to practice with a real one.

I’m self-studying also. Does anyone know the general curve or have a scoring sheet? I’m having a lot of trouble with FRQs and I’d like to know the minimum score on them + mc for a 5. Any ideas?

Does any one have a cram packet or cram sheet they would be willing to pm me ?

To anyone who is studying with a PR book, do you think the practice tests will be like the exam? That may sound stupid but we took the 2006 released exam and that seemed way harder than the ones in the PR book.

Also, what time do yall have to be at your site? I know the exam doesn’t start till eight but we have to be there at 6:50.

Okay for everyone who hasn’t even started studying yet (like the self studiers), WOW just WOW! Good luck

Self studying, started monday after bio lol. Three hours a day was not fun. anyways i should definitely get a 5 if I don’t mangle the free response

Hey guys, I had macro and micro today so I couldn’t study before. I am a self-study and I did read PR a few months ago. What should I do to prepare? I will probably reread PR and take some practice tests and FRQs. ANyone know any other resources. I also have REA, Kaplan, and Rubenstein. Anyone know any other good resources or practice tests? Thanks

@collegeisamaybe, do you have the 2006 released exam? If not, do you think the 2008 practice exam was a similar difficulty to the 2006 released exam? my teacher gave me the college board released practice exam from 2008 and i did okay on it but i got a 61/75 on the princeton reviews 1st practice test so im thinking the real test will be a bit harder also.

How do the Barron’s tests rank in difficulty? They seemed harder than PR for me, but I am curious about how they rank compared to the actual 2006 exam.

^ are you kidding? The Barrons were WAY easier for me.

Ahh! Word mixup! Thanks for pointing that one out. Yeah, I meant Barron’s tests were way easier. That might also be because I read the Barron’s review book and only skimmed PR, but still, they seemed more straightforward.

Is it just me, or does PR have so much unnecessary information in the review section?!

Bring the FRQs on!!!

Umm idk what you guys are talking about…Barrons has a rep for being harder than the actual exams. Also PR does have unless info and the tests are easier.

I’m worried about the FRQs…
But I got a 65/75 on the practice test for the first PR practice test. How well do you have to do on the FRQs to get a 4 or preferably five? (I know I’m going to mess up on the FRQS)

Well. Time to start studying… This will be my last AP test EVER, it’s a self study and I have yet to start. LEEEEERRROYYYYY JEEEENNNKINNNSSSS!

^LOL! And you HAVE to come back and post how you did on the test!
