***Official AP Physics B CRAM thread***

Alright guys.
So I read a ton of AP Physics B threads but we need a thread that just has any last minute review stuff.

Feel free to post up any websites, cram packets, past ap tests, or any review material you might have that would help procrastinators like me -__-

Ohh, and if anyone knows of any programs that would help for the free response questions that would be appreciated!

Here's a website I found that's very helpful: Learn AP Physics - AP Physics B

Alrighty Guys, Start Posting :)

I’m so scared! I keep looking at problems and understanding them and then blanking out when I go to solve them

Will trade some prep pdf files (5 to 5, and a few others) for practice exams with solutions!

I have a link with some sample questions:
<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;
Scroll down and there are 20 practice questions with the answers. They start on page 21.

Could you please send me those files to my email? tulsishah704@yahoo.com. Thanks! :)

Number 10 on 2009 MC. Why is it C? : What is the change in internal energy of the gas for the process bc? (answer is 0J)

Would someone mind just posting tips for the free response questions? If anybody has some helpful tips, please do tell!

Sent! Sorry that was late

Does anyone know if significant figures matter for this test?

^Yeah I read on college board that if we basically just use common sense we’ll earn all of the points. If we need to calculate a small number do not round off before we calculate and show 3/4 decimal places.

However we’re entitled to use the highest(lowest? Idr) amount of significant digits given in the problem, if we want.

Can someone post a list of helpful derivations and formulas to save on a calculator for the FR section?

How do you save stuff on a calculator???

@ ElMastermind: Thanks!
@kevination: That would really help!
@SueHeck: Depends on what calculator you have.

What is everyone doing for last minute prep?

I’m going over the FRQs. I can guess my way through MC, and FRQs help with MC problems as well anyway.

Is the audit practice test extremely difficult or is it just me getting all those questions wrong on the MC, btw does anyone want to trade or sell me the 2009 MC? if so pm me asap

@Isurus: Good idea! I think that’s what I’ll do after I finish going through all the material.
@aa2011: Where’s the audit practice test? Like where can I get it from?

umm, pm me.

they have released 1998 as well

Hey guys, I have a question. If I don’t know Fluid/Waves/Optics stuff, can I still get a 4? I’m seriously just aiming for a 4 at this point…and I’m reading through Princeton Review.

I only know Kinematics (1-D, 2-D, Forces, Energy, Work) and Electric Fields/Magnetism.
And I took AP Chem last year…so yeah.

@kokome1: I think you should read over the waves stuff atleast cuz theres usually quite a bit on that. just make sure you know the concepts and read over the main equations you need to know such as velocity= frequency * wavelength. other than that, if you know everything else well i think you can get a four!

If theres an optics fr, yes id be screwed.
