I'm suprised that we have yet to start a study thread for the AP that is infamously known to be the most challenging in Collegeboard's arsenal.

Let's ride this **** out together though.;)

Alright let's start this out with...Give a brief outline of Maxwell's Laws and explain why each is significant to the understanding of electromagnetism.

ok seriously, u need to start this out with math from question one lol...i doubt that there is gonna be something asking u to describe a Law on an Engineering Physics test lol

Alright...

A 0.1 kg block is attached to an initially unstretched spring of force constant k=40 newtons per meter vertically. The block is released from rest at time t=0. At what time after release will the block first return to its initial position?

(A) pi/40s
(B) pi/20s
(C) pi/10s
(D) pi/5s
(E) pi/4s

The user who provides the correct solution will get to post the next question for discussion!!!:)

evilasiandictator: is the answer B?

My Solution: define the period of oscillation as (2pi)sqrt(m/k).

I drew a sine curve to help me, the block will drop to a low position of -1 then return past 0 and upto 1, the block will pass point 0 at (1/2) of the period so .157 seconds.

I don't have a question except my 100 page book I printed yesterday of previous AP test/solution answers, maybe evilasiandictator can post another :).
