yep, i am going to leave for school in a half hour... i don't even know what suerte means, but oh well...

are you all going to incorporate as many tenses as you can on the essay?

claro que si... lo mejor cosa que puedo hacer para sacar un buena nota es usar todos los tensos que recuerdo. Buena suerte a todos!

todos estan listo? Ojala que esto sea verdad .... buena suerte a todos

So how does everyone think the exam went?

Personally, I'm relieved to be done with it, though the reading was much harder and longer than I expected it to be. Also, my tape recorder didn't record what I was saying for the first 20 seconds of the picture series because I was having problems with it, but the proctor wouldn't let me do the section over again. Anyone think this will effect my score in this section of the exam tremendously?

The reading comprehension was much longer than I had expected :( I didn't have time to finish and I had to leave some blank...

The reading part of the exam was long, but I still think that I did well on the section. The second part of the exam I found to be easy.

The reading was sooo tedious and boring and I'm definately not pulling off a 4. It would really surprise me if I did but who knows. I have no idea how I did compared to other people.

I zoned out during one of the narratives...lol

Yeah I would agree that the reading section seemed infinite and was excruciatingly dull. The oral section had me really nervous, especially when it cut you off after only 20 seconds.

all the answers were said. no grammar part, it was easier.

the recording proctor fucvked me up... but i hope i did well. so damn intimidatingh. as long as what u say is fine, they cant hold that mistake against you, jrose.

imo, this is the part they basically give u a free 20%... i was cut off in midthought, which was fine, but not cool.

also, i didn't eat lunch. it ended at 3pm because there were probs and stuff.

I am SO glad that the test is over...

the reading was soooooooo long....i honestly think read about 6/7 passages....that was just ridiculous...

The Listening/writing section was not too hard, and the speaking was easy....looks like i freaked out for nothing

the writing part was the hardest... the fill in the blank. i totally died on that section. i think the essay wasn't too bad.

Eh...I don't think it was too terrible. At least I actually finished everything, unlike some of my friends. We had a different proctor for this particular exam, and she didn't know to tell us when there was ten minutes left on the MCs or when exactly we started so we could watch the clock ourselves...so a bunch of people left 10-20 blank because they didn't pace themselves. :o Fortunately, I had just finished but didn't get to check over everything when she called time.

We made her tell us when there were ten minutes left on the essay, though...

I don't think I did as well on the tape as I hoped I would :( I'm feeling a 3, maybe a 4???

I think I rocked the directive response, okay on the picture sequence. The reading was mad long, but most of it wasn't bad. Essay...total BS, I hated the prompt.

I've been taking spanish for...this is my 6th year. We start languages in 6th grade here :-/

this is year 5 for me

Narratives... I know what you mean geminihop. Was listening then all of a sudden it ended. And then I realized I had absolutely no idea what was just said. Thank goodness this was one of the short ones...

Essay- AH! PEN! Soo messy.
Picture - didn't finish
Directed Response - ...........I died. 2 conjugated verbs strung together. I died...

I didn't finish the picture sequence either. I was on the 5th one too and I had so much to say about the last one obviously so I was a little disappointed. Oh well...

Essay was annoying since I really had no opinon on the subject and the DR was okay, not an interesting topic IMO.

I omitted 8 on the MC. There were several others that i wasnt too sure of as well. So in total I lose 20 pts on that maybe? I hated the prompt... what the heck was that? I bs'ed it crazily... probably 6ish on the rubric. Speaking was okay I suppose. Meh... appears as if I'm looking at a 3. Considering I did absolutely NOTHING in class this year, not bad... whatever.

Son of Liberty: Compared to me, you got a 5! :D

lol. im sure that's not true. the test definitely was a beast though.
